Very cute, not kitschy or overloaded. Nice transitions and good ideas for details in the scenes. And the screens are well used and in harmony with the physical sets. It's a great addition to Plopsaland, and I can't wait to ride it.

With it existing for 19 years I didn’t expect that Bumba would still be popular enough to be given a ride, but it’s not too bad! It’s cute for children and the (I assume) small budget it was made with.

This is an adorable dark ride. I love the creativity and there are little bits and pieces that remind me of Knott's Bear-y Tales. Anything inspired by that original ride for me is awesome to see. Although I can't say for sure if the makers of this ride know about KBT. Also, 0:59 reminds me a bit of the Madam Wong vignette in Bear-y Tales. Just more modernized when it comes to the animation of how the gong is hit. The scene even has a dragon appearing as well! Which furthers the resemblance to what I saw in that ride.

It’s really great! Very charming! Who did the work on this ride? I saw on the site who the vehicle/ride system manufacturer is but who designed the rest?

The ride was designed internally at Plopsa Group, owner of the Plopsaland parks. Piet de Koninck is their head designer and did the design drawings. The manufacturing of the theming was outsourced to the Belgian studio Fisheye.

Mager
