@oonihq Can these be done the other way around?. Convert from natural gas to propane? Doing the same process of changing the orifice tip and adjusting the valve? Wilfredo from PR

Hi there! This can be changed back to propane but this can only be done on the Koda 16 propane version. The Koda 16 Natural gas oven can not be converted to propane.

Si se puede convertir a propano, yo ya lo hice, por accidente compré uno de gas natural y no me lo quisieron cambiar, así que tuve que buscar por otra parte. En tu ciudad debe de a ver algún negocio especializados en gas, solo que busquen un aspersor que le quede no importa si es más largo o corto, mientras se pueda ajustar está bien.

So if I order it for Natural Gas I'll have to rip it apart to install a conversion kit or will it arrive as I ordered it?

Hi there! If you ordered the Natural gas version you will not need to convert your oven. This is only if you purchased the propane version and want to convert to natural gas!

While this is a good video it is a little inaccurate for the Koda 16 I received last week (November 2022) which has a different control box design that facilitates making the switch without requiring the entire control box to be removed from the bottom of the oven. Instead, it requires the removal of an inspection panel on the control box which allows access to the two nozzle housings. It was not hard to make this adjustment and means far fewer Phillips screws to take out. It is quite obvious which screws are needed to remove the panel and which hold the control box down as the latter are not a regular Phillips shape. Most of the control box stays attached to the base of the oven when the inspection panel comes away. The only minor problem I had was aligning the natural gas collar with the holes in the control housing during reassembly. It is worth taking a moment to inspect this during disassembly to see what it looks like and then again during reassembly to make absolutely sure you have the right holes in the control valve assembly lined up or you may fasten down the new collar but then find the control knob won't fit properly or turn. I found it easiest to line up the holes and then screw in the right-hand screw (while the oven is upside down with the valve assembly facing you) in a few turns first so as to pin the valve assembly in the correct alignment, then slip the new collar on (one side of the collar allows this, then add the left screw and finally tighten both screws down snuggly and pop the knob back on.

Lucky you, I just bought the Koda16 but didn't come with an inspection panel so I had to follow the video above. Even so, it only took me about 10 minutes.
