This sounds like a coffee shop jazz song. I think it's because it's played on a modern piano and because you don't hold some notes as long as the original does. I also noticed that you play the beginning in a sort of swing rhythm, which really adds to it. I really like the idea of this song being a more casual coffee shop jazz theme, it's a pleasant melody, and this specific rendition would fit perfectly in a coffee shop.

That’s part of it, yeah. The original sounds like it’s played on an old, slightly out of tune piano.
