Ankhs have been used in gothic circles since likely before you could read, and from my understanding the symbol hasn’t been used significantly or widely since ancient Egyptian cultures. And last time I checked, you can’t appropriate extinct cultures. They are not disrespecting anyone, thus it is not appropriation.
