Oo De Lally - Banjo Cover from Disney's Robin Hood
A classic song from a classic movie, and one that is definitely one of my favorites from childhood. More covers from Robin Hood will be on the way this summer.
This song was originally written and performed by Roger Miller as Alan-a-Dale the rooster.
Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy it.
Update: I made a tab sheet for the instrumental section, found here: www.sendspace.com/file/89os0c
in case anyone is interested.

A very good example of why art is a necesity and not just luxury. I feel his peace playing even is he doesn't smile
I was a little skeptical in the beginning, but when you hit that E(?), it really reminded me of Roger. Good rendition for sure.
I was skeptical but now I'm impressed.
Dang Me!!! I Just Know Ol' Roger Miller is Smiling Down From Heaven!
"Who's driving this flying umbrella?!"
I did not know how much I needed this till right now
I'm 10 years old again! :)
This is one of the most fantastic things I have ever heard. Your voice, plus your banjo...
I could listen to this all day. Sounds like smooth silk rolling off his tongue.
This is a real good road trip song or if youre just tripping.
This is the only cover I listen to since 3 years ago. Makes me happy all the time
By far my favorite cover of this nostalgic song. It does justice to the original. Shoot...it's on par with it. Bravo!
I could get drunk on my porch and listen to this all day. Nice one!
I can't help but smile every time I hear this song, especially this cover!
Well done. My son, who is two, loves this video. He loves watching you play and shouting Oo De Lally.
Thanks so much for sharing the tab of your lovely arrangement! I won't ever perform it as well as you, but I'm going to enjoy trying! Love all the Roger Miller songs from this ancient cartoon.
Thanks for doing this song justice
Amazing. I sing this song to my 3 year old at bed time. Would love a set of tabs to this for when he wants to sing to with me during the day
My favorite rendition of my favorite song. I never thought that Oo De Lally could be made even better, but you accomplished the impossible. I wish I could marry you
Holy...! Roger Miller would be proud. Also, what a lovely voice!
