hes on another level when you could put sets(songs) together for one hour bangin' em out and remembering all the program banks 16 pad lay outs. each program is a song if your just tappin loops and samples live and sometimes pressing the play button for pre-tapped sequences just to give him a break while he transition to the other MPC while using a Korg kaosliator (kaospad) effects pad. so in a set like this he has to optimize the memory usage of each MPC only fitting as much program/song(s) that will fit in the RAM every time you load a new program. each program has four banks A B C and D, and each bank can also be a song if your tying to cram a song with the capacity of 16 pads per bank. bank A 16 pads of loops, samples, and hooks which can fit as a song, and so forth for every bank and thats if you set up the program that way if its four songs one song in ever bank of the four banks in one program. a song can also have all four banks of samples and loops but if you have that many you still have to switch to another bank for a change up in the composition of the song carefully and quickly lifting your right hand to reach over to the bank buttons without messing up the flow of the song that is being played/heard. changing programs on one MPC by loading up the next program can take pretty long maybe as short as 8 seconds while hes playing on the other MPC. so to do a live set like this takes some choreographing between what MPC and remembering what 16 pad layout(s) are for what song if he manages to keep it as simple and easy to remember as doable as possible. to optimize the space in memory loops have to be 1 or 2 bars short in one of the pads of the 16 pads per bank (A or B or C or D). but if your tapping every note of the drum break you need three pads of the 16 pads in one bank the snare on one pad, the kick on one pad, and the high hat on one pad which leaves you 13 more other pads of the 16 pads to have loops hooks or samples for just this one bank or do the same with the other banks if there's other different loops hooks and samples. each bank can be a change up in the composition of one song if one song is equivalent to one program... or the other way if your trying to cram four songs in one program (four songs one song in each bank out of the four banks can be equivalent to one program and as many programs that will fit in the memory of the MPC). i realize that this is not an MPC 1000 forum, but i care to share with the youtube community of how this guy ONRA might be possibly setting up his live performance. i own a MPC 1000 since 2005 and there are other ways of setting up a live performance in sets. but what matters subjectively is if you can rock a party and also get the bboys and bgirls in a cypher and throwdown in a battle by just playing your music.

R.A.D.+H.E.R. and also is that each single pad of the 16 pads in one pad tapped can trigger four samples or loops at one tap or taps all at the same time if you choose to set up your pads that way, its called layering (stacking) even if some samples or loops are shorter or longer than each other from the starting point of each sample or loop. i wonder if hes on the JJos operating system thats pretty common on the MPC 1000.
