This is the first time I've seen Expireneced Broadcaster Peter Barakan when he was this young. I didn't realise he's been doing TV work for quite that long.

It’s funny that I discovered Peter Barakan through his musician brother. The photo of Peter with his beautiful wife in their traditional Japanese wedding kimonos is amazing. As Peter has gotten older he appears more and more Asian.

I love how there's nothing in the video description or title about Peter Barakan, and yet that's the entire reason why everyone is watching this video lol

It seems like Yoko is getting Peters Japanese translated to English for her.

@@LadyOrchidity Peter was the international marketing directorr and was also a lyricist for Yellow Magic Orchestra after he graduated from SOAS University of London and moved to Japan. He does a lot of DJ work in Japan and is also the long-time host of NHK World's, BEGIN Japanology and Japanology Plus. He is a tremendous source of information on jazz and popular music.
