It was sad but I also read other stories worse that were more messed up so it could be that I was numb to it. One short story that did get me was the girl in the box (not the actual name).

Emergence was really fucking sad, seeing a young girl be betrayed by friends and her mother, running away to get a better life, but in the end getting beaten to death, as she gets another dose of drugs, apologizing to her kid, and hallucinating their happy ever ending, while bleeding out on the floor and eventually dying. Flowers of evil is really complicated. You don’t understand what to think, or what point the writer is trying to prove, in the very end. It’s beautiful. You should read it

I never usually comment but I have to say. I usually associate a song with a relationship. I value relationships and take ages to decide if I'm to be with the person. This song is all about the relationship I'm having now. It started of perfect. But then there was doubts. We fought a lot. I've mistaken, he did too. We somehow kept coming back though. I wanted to fix evert thing. I wanted him. Only him. I wanted our future, get over fights, i believed we can grow together through it. Me and him. In his eyes I want him to see that "only you my girl, only you babe" in me too. I love him. We are now properly in the relationship and we got over the fighting, he has helped to get through a lot and I love him with all i have and value him. **Aku no Hana** is the anime shown. It's really good and I think the song sorta fits personally. Really fuckin big psychological anime tho, and a lot of silent scenes but it's filled with the obvious tension and beautiful realistic animation. Good watch, only if you can handle some disturbing imagery and ideals tho. (there's a manga too.)

It really messed me up too, it made me think abt the stuff I regret doing. I have never had this type of reaction towards an anime and I think the creator wanted ppl to feel that way, this has to be one of my favorite anime/manga.

@@somebpforme7999 I haven't read Flowers of Evil yet, but Emergence wasn't that bad imo. I was expecting way worse? Like idk. It was sad but I also read other stories worse that were more messed up so it could be that I was numb to it. One short story that did get me was the girl in the box (not the actual name).

@@bimates2690 tbh, emergence was messed up, but it didnt leave the same effect as flowers of evil. Emergence was really fucking sad, seeing a young girl be betrayed by friends and her mother, running away to get a better life, but in the end getting beaten to death, as she gets another dose of drugs, apologizing to her kid, and hallucinating their happy ever ending, while bleeding out on the floor and eventually dying. Flowers of evil is really complicated. You don’t understand what to think, or what point the writer is trying to prove, in the very end. It’s beautiful. You should read it

This feels like just doing whatever you want with your friend and getting lost in the euphoria without thinking about the consequences. Your friend might even convince you to jump off a cliff together. Its an intense relationship where its all high: hurt, love, obsession, euphoria, depression. All feelings are muddled and you can't separate one from the other, all you can do is live in the moment.
OK. So today I started reading the manga with this loop in the background, I still don’t know how to feel. But DAMN the scene in the mountain goes so good with this song overall. AND (I lil spoiler ahead) “… I wanted her to remain as an angel forever… I didn’t want to face the actual person…! I was afraid!!” That sentence.,,, 😩

I never usually comment but I have to say. I usually associate a song with a relationship. I value relationships and take ages to decide if I'm to be with the person. This song is all about the relationship I'm having now. It started of perfect. But then there was doubts. We fought a lot. I've mistaken, he did too. We somehow kept coming back though. I wanted to fix evert thing. I wanted him. Only him. I wanted our future, get over fights, i believed we can grow together through it. Me and him. In his eyes I want him to see that "only you my girl, only you babe" in me too. I love him. We are now properly in the relationship and we got over the fighting, he has helped to get through a lot and I love him with all i have and value him. I feel like this is a new level of love - a new experience. He's unique, one and only - for me.

Picture this: you’ve just learned your loved one has died and you run out into the street in front of a speeding semi truck. This song feels like that split second before you hit the car where everything is in slo motion
**Aku no Hana** is the anime shown. It's really good and I think the song sorta fits personally. Really fuckin big psychological anime tho, and a lot of silent scenes but it's filled with the obvious tension and beautiful realistic animation. Good watch, only if you can handle some disturbing imagery and ideals tho. (there's a manga too.)
