She isn't. It's from the movie "Gifted" This girl, Mary, got her smart genes from her mother. Her mother took her life away because of all the pressure her mother (Mary's grandmother) put down on her. She wanted Mary to have a regular life so a child wouldn't experience the same situation. The dad of Mary left the mom when Mary wasn't even born. So that scene happened when she was put into a public elementary school.

Yesss it's my fav movie 💖 her mother is a math professor- her uncle is the one who teaches this little kid math tho- her mother passed away and her dad- he doesn't even care about her- I love when her grandmother or Evelyn (Idk if this is her name- I forgot 😅) bring her to the professor at the university and she knows that the question is wrong likeeee WOW!!!

Think of it like this 7+5=12 and add 20 because we took away the 10s place so we are left with the ones and 10 + 10=20 so 20+12=32
