There were more than a couple of "odd" reads/writes in that story

First and primarily: My post is not even an argument to be responded to as it is a "report of an emotional state" and not a logical argument with any point or position. so your response contextually is a non sequitur. To clarify I never stated that this is unrealistic, or would not happen or anything of the sort, my statement was about me reading a FICTIONAL story, and not liking the contradiction in the FLOW and MEANING of the words being used to explain the story to me by the AUTHOR. Not the content of the internal fictional story piece. to address what you actually said though from the context of my post: ( should also reinforce that as this was a "report of an emotional state", i stopped listening to the story after the 4 minute mark, so maybe they are greedy idk) Was greed written into the story to be an element of the human characters? If so when/where? Was that the authors intent? If so what is your justification for that being the authors intent? If I wanted a justification I'm more then smart enough to come up with one on my own. The fact that I can point out the event in question implies that. I can even come up with ones that don't require the humans to be scum, like different types of resources that are not in the sol system and the need for trade. I do apricate the sentiment of providing an answer to a potential question, even if threw miscommunication it was unnecessary, so from that stand point, I thank you.

Welp, that AI can't draw faces any better than hands. I didn't know what ice talks were, and I didn't know the Dolan skied. The narration was about as good as the artwork and story incongruencies. But, 73's to you, 88's to the pretty one, 22's to the little ones, 44's to the four-legged kind. And put a 10-100 on the bill collector for us. If you know what it was I said, good for you. I'm 10-7.

Enjoyed. The voice is easy to listen to.

Isolation does have it's upsides, you're not making friend but you're not making enemies either. Enemies that could potentially get their hands on thing you send to fight them.

I just hope the three races who wronged the Humans were not completely eradicated, though

I thought the holding off to confirm help was actually a good thing. It kept with the theme of hopelessness and built anticipation. If they already told them they would help then that whole part wouldn't be as dark and dreary. Idk just my opinion. I would still enjoy reading/hearing the original tho

Eighty-eight. It really should have been a red flag when they told us that the Sun is 93 million miles away and that the Moon is only 240 thousand miles away. And that it is only by some ridiculously impossible coincidence that they just happen to look the exact same size. But the real giveaway should have been when they told us that everything came from nothing along time ago when…nothing exploded.
