This video is probably confusing if you’ve never watched a certain movie. Noah and I found out that Memento was on both of our top 3 movies of all time list. So when we met up in Seattle, we decided to make a cooking video inspired by it. In the movie, the scenes are played out of order so it takes awhile to understand what’s going on. The clips in this video are played backwards similar to Memento and even though the salmon is the last thing we cooked, I placed it at the beginning. Also in the movie, the main character (Lenny) has short term memory so he takes Polaroids of places and people to remember what they are. That’s why you see the Polaroids of the salmon, fingerling potatoes, and shishito peppers. And lastly, Lenny writes down “Don’t believe his lies” on one of the pictures which is another aspect we tied into this video. Obviouslyyyy, Noah can cook as the whole entire video demonstrates lol Just a fun video that we put together and hope you all enjoy! Also HIGHLY recommend watching Memento.

Just his skill as a chef was enough to mesmerize me… makes me kind of miss the thrill of putting out dishes like that when I was a chef. 😢 But that looked delicious and was a pure masterpiece! Hats off to you both for a fabulous display of what chefs do and what it takes to create those gorgeous dishes.
