Question: If Hero was such a big problem for this stage why don't you do the same thing you did for the Mario and Luigi 2 and Only and place a 2nd switch so he can't use magic burst to hit the switch? Unless he can hit it another way though

I think they could probably hit Mythra's ray of punishment lever from the starting area with Axe. doesnt matter since they cant get past the wind, but certainly funny

One & Only and All But One challenges are always fascinating. Since you gave Sheik a One & Only a year or two ago, I think Zelda is due as well. I'm also curious if you'll give Pokemon Trainer the spotlight in these challenges at some point. That being said, bravo on your content as usual sir!

I think invincibilityless hero is a good idea. Definitely will save the future from having a Gannon/insineror thing in every OaO for just one character

I think Hero should be allowed Hocus Pocus, but not invincibility itself. It's really not fun to watch him win challenges that way. See if making himself smaller or something leads to more interesting wins than just running over lava.

This was absolutely sick and I was hoping we'd get an Aegis can only win challenge some day! I hope we could get a challenge only Shulk can win soon too since you could do a lot with his arts 😊😊. Great content as usual Prowder!

Fine with the whole banning invincibility thing seeing as it does take a lot of limited resources, but I do think it'd be neat to show something that prevents it at the end of stage creation for demonstration purposes.

I cannot stress enough how amazing of a franchise Xenoblade Chronicles is. I haven't played Xenoblade 3 yet, but both Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 are amazing experiences. Amazing characters, exciting & strategic combat systems, and SOO much replay-ability. Not to mention the story--the cutscenes are the kinds that leave you dazed with you jaw on the floor, and the games are like 60 hours long, easily double that if you're going for 100%. And the areas... the areas are so beautiful. I remember when I first reached an area called "Satorl Marsh" in Xenoblade 1 definitive edition at night, and literally just sat there for like 20 seconds, dazed by how amazing it looked. AND THE MUSIC!!! Holy spaghetti and meatballs, I haven't even gotten to the music yet. The music adds so much to the experience, and I've listened to the entire soundtrack on repeat almost as much as I've played the games theirselves. I will tell you though, Xenoblade 2 has a couple of flaws that detract from the experience a lot (RNG system for blades, most of the female characters are half naked, game does a horrible job of explaining the mechanics), but it's strengths are so great that it's an amazing experience regardless. And Xenoblade 1 definitive edition is exactly that but without those glaring flaws, it's easily one of my favorite games I've ever played, and I've played A LOT of games. So what should you take from this? Both Xenoblade games have an amazing value for their cost, honestly just from my opinion of the first 2 games I'd be willing to buy Xenoblade 3 if it was double the price. Both of the games are kinda anime, but honestly, I struggle to recommend any game more. ... And no, I didn't just forget Xenoblade X, I'll get around to it eventually lol

I agree with the hero invincibility ban. While it's hard to get the invincibility through hocus pocus, it just feels like a cheat move to use for a challenge.

That starting box is unreasonably effective. Their side-Bs are unique enough that they don't help much in most challenges, but manage to eliminate all but 9 of the entire roster. The angle of Mythra's projectile is also unusual such that only others that pass through obstacles or are affected by gravity would be able to hit that switch. The dummy switch might just be one of the most diabolical obstacles.

I think banning Hero invincibility is fair but you should definitely show an obstacle that hero can’t do since it is a thing he can do in the game and it wouldn’t really be a challenge no-one else can do otherwise

Interesting, I actually made my own only Mythra stage a while back. It's pretty sloppy, but I liked that yours included Pyra as well

Okay, hear me out: a Sephiroth only challenge. Masamune gives him some of the longest melee range in the game and ignores walls, his recovery is pretty good and is infinite with wall piercing, shadow flare is one of the smallest projectiles in the game, and gigaflare is one of the largest. He can also get deceptively low to the ground using his down tilt. I think it could be pretty cool!

Idea: now that you did one for Pyra + Mythra, make a One & Only for Shulk if you havent

Technically couldn’t mii gunner stealth burst hit the switch, up air can hit the Pyra up b switch, and he’s short enough to fit through the lava tunnel

What about a challenge only snake can’t do, It’d be very interesting I think, because he has the highest recovery and lots of other tools like the Nikita and crawling to so many obstacles.

You should make one that only xenoblade characters can pass. Shulk, pyra and mythra.

I've been asking for a Terry One and Only for a while now, but just now I actually came up with a tagline that can be in the thumbnail: "Are you OK? BUST-A WOLF!!" and show him beating the snot out of Wolf. Alternatively, it could just be a "Who Can Bust-a Wolf?" challenge where everyone takes a turn to dunk on Wolf by chucking projectiles or other characters to hit a switch and "dunk" him in a tank.

I can definitely see someone hitting the pyra switch with a long range boomerang it's only a matter of time

If you can, try to make it so even hero can't make it with hocus pocus invincibility but if you can't, it's fine and I like the idea of showing an obstacle that he can't get past but doesn't fit into the stage

I think a challenge only shulk could do could start by using his speed art to get past wind the use jump to get high and a switch so that only people with long range disjoints can do it

I personally feel Hero's invincibility is part of their character. They are supposed to be the RNG one who does impossible things. Like the comebacks people do with a lucky Command Selection. Banning it, is denying part of who they are. Also means it isn't a true One and Only. I do agree with all the other rules like no abusing Stage bugs, because this isn't part of the character. But then again this is just my personal opinion; no need to agree with me. You do you.

Just make a lava tunnel that is just high enough for olimar. After all, he's like an inch tall

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. He just said invincibility. If hocus pocus is still allowed then he could go small and complete the challenge. (He said he updated it so that he can't make the first part anyway.)

And because this stage has a split path, that means that by removing the Pyra switch, or the Mythra switch, you can easily turn the level into one that only Myrthra or Pyra can win.

Good call banning hocus pocus invincibility. Almost completely unstoppable when combined with pythra's bad recovery.

I do think the challenges should be more about not touching lava instead of just not taking damage from it. That would make Hero have to use more than just invincibility to win, and Kirby can't just reset jumps with down special. I would still allow Corrin and Sephiroth to stab lava with their abilities that can, since they don't reset jumps or get free invincibility. I don't know how this would affect Wario's bike... I guess, since he's still touching the lava, it would disqualify him? However it works, I just think it would make challenges more interesting overall.

Xenoblade is a genuinely brilliant franchise with lots of great characters + character developments as well as lots of world building. I definitely reccomed playing through any of them. The music is also really goo.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition in my opinion is one of the greatest games I've ever played both in story and gameplay. I'm actually on chapter 13 of new game plus right now. I have only played the beginning of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but it did not have a good first impression to me. I'm not even out of the tutorial yet so my opinion may change, but right now I'm not impressed. I have not played Xenoblade 3 yet. Overall I would highly recommend playing the first game and if you liked it looking into the other two games.

would Hero be able to get through if he used the Hocus Pocus that makes him shrink or would the wind make him go to high in that state? Also, if Link's bomb can get through the wind of the second section then he might be able to do it. Still waiting for challenge that only Min Min can do and a challenge only Sephiroth can do.

Links Part cant get through the wind section. The shrink one I forgot but I made a little change in the first obstacle so hero cant do that one anymore so we dont need to think about it.

@@Prowder Unrelated but I've seen a lot of requests for a Zelda one and only, and I believe she has the best teleport so I'd love to see a weird teleport contraption if you do it. But regardless of who you do next I'm pumped. These are for sure my favorite type of videos.
