Calling the fake-out. When was the last time i death stuck to a major character? Also there was no body. Rule 1: If we don't se a body the person isn't dead. And sometimes even seing a body doesn't have to mean anything. The grand inquisitor, Reaver, Ahsoka, the Marshal, Cad Bane, etc. If he was dead it would also be really dumb plotwise. They set Crosshair up for a redemption. So the team should reunite at least once before they start killing off characters.

Well to us he’s still lost somewhere, and this video is meant to honor his sacrifice and he was ready to die for his squad.

Cool vid for a ded nerd-WAIT lemme be more polite... Amazing edit for Tick-NOPE almost.... Greaaaat job Padawan! :D Very well put together edit for a great season finale. 😀That was an awesome moment. As soon as I saw Tech hanging on I was like "He's gonna cut the rope." But have hope; he might not be actually dead. 🤔

Since season one, i wanted to see all of the squad back together, which might never happen again. hopefully some part of him survived somehow.

They took him and then dangles his goggle in front of my face like the torturers they are!!

I stopped watching this at 10 seconds thinking like what?? I watched episode 15 but not 16 so seeing Tech like that I was like wah? So I paused it and I'll be back 😂

Still haven’t seen the episode but based on what I’ve seen/heard … I’m not convinced he’s dead. We saw no body. Not even blood spatter on the goggles.

I see the scene with the googles a completely different way. It should show more, that this is the only thing, that remains of him. Much like in the movie "All Qiuet on the Western Front", where the main character can only pick up the glasses of a fallen soldier. This in fact, makes it even sadder, actually. I think, there's no blood on his googles, because animated series don't show blood very often.

@@Lr.Laecro.Lirus3445 they showed blood in the Crosshair & Mayday episode, which is what gives me pause. Now, as a soldier’s wife, I hear you loud and clear on the symbolism element. However, the reality of sacrifices soldiers make day in and day out makes me cringe a bit at the insistence that he has to die for his action to “mean anything”.

@@rivendells_shona Ah, okay, I missed the blood-element in "The Outpost". My guess is, that they thought, that showing blood on one of the main characters would be too dark for a show like this. Of course, I didn't wanted to imply, that he meant nothing before his sacrifice, but that his sacrifice meant even more, since we also knew him as a person, therefore it hit way harder.

@@jlord5078 Sorry late reply. So, like the racing scene and such when we got to see Tech stand out. Various scenes which show the humanization and difficulty of well, being "normal" with feelings and such if that makes sense. Tech and Omega talking about when Echo left, the feelings he shares and struggles with somewhat with the woman (sorry, forgot her name), The focus on Tech struggling with the whole soldier from birth or soldiers aren't machines... such a thing can be related to in real life, even my own experiences to a point and other media. You can also reference this from clone wars "we aren't just clones, we are men. " "We follow orders but we aren't some unthinking droids" etc. Furthermore, i just felt in my gut that it was all leading to something. I noticed something with tech in many of the episodes, he just stood out or such and the more i look at it the more it makes sense to build a character and then lose them for more of an emotive reaction. Sadly i can't reference EVERY part without rewatching it all.

My favorite part of this series!!!! It was incredibly powerful, imo. I'm not a huge TBB fan, but I think they did a very well job with Tech's death (Hopefully he doesn't come back- and I don't mean that in a bad way. If he survives, it'll just ruin that whole scene) Also, Tech was one of the few characters that actually had character development (imo) so ouch. 😅 Amazing edit as always!!!!!

@@rivendells_shona But seeing how he's a fictional character, the thought of never being able to see him again is worse. That's a pretty strong feeling to have, and that's why death for his character is better off, then reviving him. If he was alive and being tortured or whatever, nobody would feel the impact his death had. But that's my opinion. And now he will actually be remembered. 😅
