Congratulations Tara! Thanks for all the magnificent ways you have contributed to the game.
A legend. Greatness.
Amazing. Congratulations to Coach VanDerveer and all of her teams over the years. 1,203 wins... incredible!
Congratulations Tara!! I remember how great u were at ohio state university when i was there!! Sorry we lost you! Stanford really got a great womens bb coach!! Keep winning and inspiring others
It's so beautiful 😢! I keep crying 😭! Yes, congrats 🌸❤️ Tara!
Congratulations Tara! You are a living legend. As a retired Nor Cal high school coach your PBS In The Game VHS was required viewing for our players in the 90s. Heck we even wore Stanford look a like warmups. Your influence on the game is immeasurable!
Geez. Stanford also arguably the best in academics. What a school!
The. Best. Ever.

Tara Thank you very much × 1000 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ From Stanford University B.S in Management Science and Engineering Alumni Dr. Kang Haeng Bu
Who'd thunk that "Target Lady" would become such a great coach!
Folks need to stop comparing College men's and women's sports! Stand on your own two feet ladies and stop with the bs! Congratz to Tara VanDerveer but her record is women's only. smdh
If it had been UConn Womens Coach Geno Auriemma "passing" Coach K, this would have been barely a blip on the sports world's radar screen. But some people just have to try to make this into something it isn't

Yep, the is political and it's sad.
It’s quite an accomplished for women’s basketball, but you can’t compare her to Coach K his competition was 10 times tougher than hers. The worst men’s NCAA team would blow the best woman’s NCAA team out of the building.
