You got Jim broadbent mixed up with Sid who run the cafe, Sid was played by Roy heather and died in 2014, Jim broadbent played slater a policeman and is still a successful actor today

I dont know why but a lot of the characters felt older than the ages of the actors. I would have never have thought Trigger and Boycie were late 30's lol. They always seemed older than that to me.
