My thoughts,....they (charcoal holder) are nice, not really needed, but I am sure they make it easier? Binders are personal preference, but not really needed in my opinion. Great looking ribs! One of my favorite channels for sure!

I hear ya. Their not really needed, but they do make it easy, and keeps everything contained. Now binders, sometimes i don't either. Thanks for watching. 🍻

Agreed. They definitely help with that. And the water pan addition to it helps also. Thanks for watching 🥃

I got the old version of competitor, it works well, even so I prefer the Vortex to the SNS. However with the SNS the water reservoir acts as a heat shield between the coals ant the food, for an excellent indirect effect. When using a Weber kettle

Nice review Bones! I love Holy Voodoo rub and I usually don't use a binder, but I do let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes after I apply the rub and the moisture from the protein comes out and holds the rub.👍👊🍻

Thanks for subing. The water sends moisture into the air. So instead of the air being a dry heat inside the pit, its now a humid heat. Thanks for watching.

Great review Bones!! I like the way that One Fire is built. I’ve used binder and not used binder. Honestly I have no preference but I know Matt at Meat Church always uses a binder and I’d say he ought to know best right? 👍🏼 Take care brother!! 🍻
