Tim Rhyss Evans is a genius Musician and teacher of young men

Not only a great rendition of a couple of Christmas songs, but an equally great way to teach young people the Welsh language. I get bumps every time I hear Calon La, and I am a Lancastrian!!

Stunning, just bloody stunning, the guy at the front deserves a knighthood for creating this

can you just imagine what these young men will sound like as adults in a male voice choir so proud that I am and always will be welsh and proud

Stunning soloists, especially the one doing the higher notes! All of these boys have promise.

The talent keeps getting better and better. The solo voices are stunning! Wales should be so proud of her sons.

Love it sung in Welsh. Male choirs have got an amazing future in the welsh valleys. Keep the tradition lads!

I really did love it even though i am from the United States I have got some English in me I have got English & Irish in me & something else my mom told me.

Troubles with image - they looked caught in golden sparkle vests. But their music is wonderful.

Who is the second soloist he looks so young to have such a strong voice

Such a shame that no one thought it important to reuload a better video quality.

FABULOUS performance :) by this GREAT group of singers, & those that have helped prepare them, to do SO GOOD!!! :) Does anyone know the names of those exceptional soloists? Are some of them still singing, publicly, at this later stage in their lives?

Lewys (2nd soloist) is releasing welsh rock under 'lewys' Me, (1st soloist) am releasing music under John Lindon. Not as good as lewys though

The audio is wonderful … one of my very favorites … but the video on this keeps breaking apart on the lower half of the screen … is there any other source of this wonderful performance that might not have the video problem?

Curious if needing to speak Welsh is required, or do they also have opportunity to learn it (or become more proficient) if necessary?

All schoolchildren in Wales have to learn Welsh as a first or second language. So yes, they do.

These lads are from the Welsh Valleys. Welsh is taught at school and probably spoken at home. A very tricky language to learn as an adult.

Danzspdref there’s a great online app ... Say Something in Welsh ... (free until you get to the more complex lessons) ... I have shocked some people on my visits to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 with my basic knowledge of the language ... it centres on the spoken word rather than the written word!
