Biggest issue with ranked is the fact higher WR players get put into games with these sub 50% players. This is one of the biggest reasons people get hardstuck. You can always be/do better but when you have a team that dont share the same desire to win, it becomes extremely unrewarding. Opening the season at 65% wr and then being expected to carry a 40% wr troll who doesnt care about winning is just wrong.

I was 56% wr with over 35 wins vs loses, and in the last few days trying to reach Diamond, 1 game away and then the hell hole of matchmaking started to match me with trolls and Silver players in Emerald wtf!? I had to stop playing because it was something not from this world what I was experiencing. 🐒💩

@@hairoperez they say something similar every season but ultimately it's purposefully done. Means more games played, more grind, more inclination to pay for things you invest time into. Toxicity is a currency in the gaming industry.

When trying to climb a few ranks over the last few days, there were a dozen of times that my team would have an avg of 1 rank (not 1 tier) below the enemy team. And I didn't even duo a single time.

@@victorfonseca7258 is insane but Riot says that the system is fine and is maybe a bad game for someone when for more than 7 games in a row my botlane fed the enemy 20+ kills in every fkng game, the same pattern in all of those game I played, the experience was a hell hole.

I played 5 games (3 won), 5 lobbies dodged and got my placement. Tip #1 is bull, I got placed way below my usual elo thanks to that because it apparently counted my dodged lobbies as losses.

im sad because i smurf master 200lp and i hardstuck d4 after 370 games this season xd 24/7 1v5 games xd and now +17 -22 on d4 xd

Edit: Im talking about 4:34 in particular. Im not sure about this. From my personal experience with other games (World of Warcraft, for example) i have seen that most of the good players play and grind as early as possible, just after start of a server, so i suppose that in LoL it will be the same. At the EARLIEST START, which is tommorow, there will be much more good players, although there will be much more VERY BAD players. Correct me if im wrong, i want to know your opinions, i started playing League of Legends 2 years ago so im relatively new player.

I agree with the video here. You shouldn't play ranked for the first few days because the skill variation is HUGE early on. Giving people time to fall into respective ranks is really helpful for avoiding matches where one team has a 90% winrate draven vs the 30% winrate jinx. You aren't more likely to lose from it but you ARE less likely to have control over the match when player skill is all over the place. Theoretically mmr is all that matters and displayed rank doesn't change anything yadayada but mmr changes drastically for your first 30 games compared to your 100th so you will get matched with and against players that will be nowhere near your elo in 12 games in either direction and that's worth avoiding.

I played 5 placement marches won 4 and got placed in bronze 3. My friend started a new account, got to level 30, won his first placement math, and got gold 2 when, in reality, he is iron 1 on his main. How does that make sense?

IMO avoid ranked for 1-2 weeks. Beginning of seasons are already scrappy due to players who haven't played in a while coming back, then couple that with massive map changes... That and you yourself need to learn the new map changes. Just better to practice at first.

Ok, and any tips for anyone that can't game for more than 2 hours a day? Only way to fit 8 games is to start a ff at 15... and somehow that doesn't seem like a good idea for ranking up...

Makes sense why I go on insane win-streaks 1vs9'ing every single game then just get matched with a bunch of braindead, worthless, morons.

Man i havent played league for like 4 yrs now and i just came back played a bit normal to remember and see all new stuff and than jumped into ranked i won 4/5 ranked placment matches and i got into gold 4 said nice normal players...was fine got to gold 3 in like 2-3 days of cassual playing...in gold 3 players are worse than bronze...they dont look enemy or own team comp,barrely any team work.....i got better players on aram when i play to warm up my fingers where ppl play for fun than on ranked where they are playing it competitive.....

Started off great with 7 wins 2 losses, then ruined it all today back to 50% winrate. Horrible teammates some of the games but at least 3 could have been won. Rip MMR.

I don’t know why but now I’m winning like 15 lp and then losing 30 💀 please help

league is one big giant waste, ive hit silver 3 times trying to climb and now im deranked to bronze 4 again. losing 32 lp at a loss and 18 on a win. its literally the biggest fuck you. time to an extent is important but im having 100s of games and my experience this game is giga rigged and you will never climb out of bronze low silver.
