So,thats it! Haha,i didnt know 🤔🙄 Can you do more video about useing HE,on the tank? There is red color armor,yelow,and grey i think! When i shot HE on Wt auf TD tier 9 he s got 30 armor on sides,standard b have 116 HE pen,but i cant do more than 150alpha,how?

@@GT-yc5vv Sometimes when you hit a tank, you hit the modules such as gun and tracks. And sometimes the tank your shooting has spaced armour. These will absorb the HE and HEAT shells for the most part and mean that you dont penetrate the tank but instead just get splash damage for HE, for HEAT it will just not pen.

Literally never knew anything about this and how HE worked until now. Yes pls I would like you to do more of this stuff

Yep. I always shoot under heavy tanks with my T49. Reliable 300 damage every time because it has a huge splash radius.

In my 704.....I'd just load up APCR and hit cheeks....or the lower plate..... So if I use 152mm HE...and hit UNDER the tank, it will do more?

@@leeshackelford7517 no it wouldn't but the t49 has horrible pen so that's why with the obj 704 it has a lot of pen sooooo yeah H.E isn't needed as much unless ya know hitting weak armor and such it's when it's most effective

Killed a death star that was hiding behind a building by shooting HE the ground next to it.

Great explanation, it seems obvious for experienced players how to use it, but new players probably don't know how HE works. So hope this helps them.

Just a little gripe, an HE shell doesn't carry shrapnel in it, it's filled with explosive, and when it contacts something, the explosives get set off and the shell casing gets turned into 'shrapnel'. Shrapnel is just a name for the broken bits of high speed, burning hot metal, and whatever else is flung around by the explosion

Useful for de-capping, killing low hp tank if they behind cover, or just do some damage

Good for TD to obliterate tanks faster ngl

I've saved a couple games shooting under tanks. I had a game where the enemy standard b was capping and hiding behind a rail car and no one was resetting, so I fired an HE under the rail car and did 200 damage resetting the cap. Such a technique seems obvious to us unicums but clearly isn't to most of the playerbase. Great tips

Just started playing like a month ago. Had no idea how HE worked. My assumption was it pens or doesn't like a regular shell but if it pens it does more damage as it explodes inside. I never considered them just having an AOE/Splash damage that works even when not penned. Appreciate this video!

Great content! Great Breakdown, not a lot of fluff or opinions. In the 9 build slots, What is the best use for the increase in Velocity? other than canceling the rate of pen decrease. It seems to make the shots more predictable in my T49 even though it has no effect on the heat. On guns with low velocity and heat shells, is it a waste of time to increase the velocity?...is it better to get the aim time decrease?...This decision always takes me a long time to make. Especially in cases where aim time is already ok and velocity is decent....which option (aim time, velocity) is most pragmatic?
