A tip I have found from 8 years of homeschooling is once you're finished with your schoolwork, get up and go for a walk, or go run up and down the stairs once just to get your mind off work and to help your brain transition from "work mode" to "play mode".

Time management and being organized are so important when it comes to dealing with online classes! I’ve taken at least 1-2 online classes each semester since starting college and by my senior year I felt totally prepared when I had to transition to fully online because of quarantine.

I like to do the small tasks first -they get me in the mood for studying -after im done with the big task im usually exhausted so I don’t want a bunch of small things to do left on my to do list

If your not a planner person like me you can also get a dry erase board like I have that is either a calendar or a weekly one and you can write what assignments you have and stuff on there.

I'm going to be a freshman and I will be doing online first semester, my university has on campus options but I decided it was best for my health to stay home. Thanks for this video! 💕

I’ve been out of college for 2 years now and I loved your tip about knocking out certain classes in a day to be able to focus on other ones another day. When I was in school there were times I was working on stuff for all 5 classes everyday. It would have helped save so much stress had I just knocked out everything for one class in one day. Great video!

I’m starting as a freshman tomorrow in college I’m gonna miss school ngl, I lost most of the semester of senior year because where I live we had big earthquakes which school was cancelled for a month and then it got cancelled one month later again because of coronavirus )): But either way I’m happy about starting college tomorrow.

I love using the Papermate flair tips to colour coordinate my classes! It's really helped me to stay organized too, and they have such a wonderful colour collection :)

I am a sophomore in high school and have been doing online school for a few years now. However, I just started dual enrollment classes (meaning I am taking 3 college classes along with 3 high school classes) and college really shocked me. I got really stressed and decided that I needed to start using a planner but had no clue how to use one effectively. This video helped me in so many ways!! Now that I have a planner, I am not as stressed and know everything that I need to get done and when I need to do it. Such a blessing. Thank you, Jaclyn!!

when i first saw u writing and how you hunched over to write made me feel comfortable because i do the same thing but people make fun of me for that :)

I’ll be taking 5 online courses each semester this year! Wish me luck haha

I have math, literacy, project, Spanish and those are the things we do every day and for extra classes i have art, sports and music

I don't know if this will help anyone , but in the video Jaclyn describes the impact that wearing makeup has on her, I don't like make-up so I can't relate to that. However I feel like my equivalent is wearing shoes at my desk. It makes me feel ready for the day, as if I'm going somewhere. Thanks for the video! It still helped a lot.

1 tip is if you want to write notes while in class or just keep everything on your laptop you can use Stickies available only on (MacBooks) you can change the color of the sticky note aka stickies, font color and size. Also you can hide the stickies when your done with work and just put them back on for the next day because they save everything you wrote and if won’t go away. Personally I picked a different color for each stickie put my class name wrote homework and notes on each one and just filled them in as I went. You can have as many stickies you want i have six and arranged them by 1st to 6th period on the left side of my screen. Lmk if it worked for you

Omg I also semi lay down on the table when taking notes!! I’ve never seen other ppl doing that but my back gets tired so that’s why I do it 🙂

This is my second year doing online and I actually came up with a schedule for myself because I found out a little bit easier and I just figured out the color coordinating system on canvas do it everyone it helps I knew something was off because in the past my school did it last semester and so this was my first year doing it it’s funny we could choose what color you want your classes and also yes going for a walk or doing something fun after you’ve done your schoolwork really does help but like everyone on school this semester

I personally love online classes. You can do them at your own pace as well as helps me save gas

I do organize my events and such on my color, but I don't use a specific color for classes since I only take one course for the past year of going to color.
