For inductive reasoning, I just did the letters of the alphabet with numbers on top of them trick and then for perceptual acuity, I eliminated the choices until I was left with the figure/phrase that was right 😊 Also, it's really important to be aware of the amount of time you're spending on the questions! Especially for Part 1. So try to solve or eliminate as fast as you can and keep practicing now while you can! Good luck ♡

Hi! The online demo test was a very shortened version of the practice set CEM gave for NMAT 😊 It was mostly for one to be familarized with the online system.

I’m not entirely sure about that but I think as long as the system is running and it says that it will be okay during the test, then you should be fine 😊

Hi ate Isa! Do you need to finish answering each subtest to proceed to the next sub test of the same part or can you freely answer different subtests within each part of the NMAT?

Hi! The software that CEM requires you to download to take the test is only compatible with Windows :( So I had to borrow a Windows laptop at the time!

You can use your whiteboard anytime during the test but you just need to make sure to erase after every question because that was the reminder my proctor kept giving 😅

Hi!! Yes, there’s a bar on top that’ll allow you to go back to any question for that certain part 😊 But once you move on to “break” or “Part 2”, you won’t be able to go back to the questions in Part 1!

Yes bawal po calculator :( So purely using the whiteboard talaga for solving! Hmmm what I can say about problem solving is you really need to know basic formulas especially the algebraic ones because they almost always come out! And really solve the best and fastest way you can do because sometimes there are longer ways to solve but if you have a shortcut or faster way, then better 😊

Hi! It was about 12x12 inches 😊 Yes they have guidelines but as long as it’s around the same size, should be okay.

It depends on the school you plan on going to because they have different cut-off scores 😊

If you’ve successfully logged in into the test website and after processing the identification part, is there a countdowns timer to know that you can start the exam on the exact time?

When I took it, it varied per person. The test starts right after the identification part. So if you’re one of the first ones in queue, you’ll be taking the test earlier and finishing earlier than those who are last to queue 😊

You really have to wait for the break time to finish (or I think you can skip it ata?) but I suggest thats its best if you really take your time to have a light snack, take a restroom break and just re-energize your brain during the break!

Hi! I was 3rd year when I applied and was really going to take it at that time but then Covid happened :( So I took it during the first month of my 4th year! But you can definitely do it as a third year student as long as you study 😊

Hi!! According to the CEM website, it says “Graduating college students at the end of the current school year” but I suggest asking them to be sure because I was able to register when I was 3rd year 😊

Also since this is online already, may chance pa ba na you have to decide whether what subject ang uunahin to answer for the part 1 and part 2? Normally noong face-to-face pa tapos naka booklet ang mga questionnaires -- you have the choice kung anong subject ang uunahin mong sagutin. Meron bang option sa online ngayon?

@@genreagda1239 Yes you have the option to move on to other questions but then it’s not something I would suggest because it is quite time consuming to keep on clicking til you get to the part that you want :( It’s possible that you might run out of time going back to previous parts huhu so it may be better to answer the order so is given 😊

Hi! There’s no specific year naman na kailangan because you can still take the NMAT even years after you graduate 😊 But usually aroynd 3rd-4th year of college! No, di kailangan na premed course. It could be any course 😊

I took review classes before the pandemic from December to February (once a week) and then since my exam was moved months after, I just did self review the 1-2 months before :)

Hi! They did not divide the time for the subtests anymore. Only for the 2 Main Parts because there is a break inbetween. So it’s up to you how long you take in a certain part 😊
