Thank you very much! I'm a freshman and my teachers have been freaking us out about college lol. I've been having a hard time finding out what Graphic Design at Full Sail is like, so this really helped. I do have one question though Did you have to put together a portfolio to be accepted? I'm just asking because I want to be ready if needed.

Hello, ofcourse! Dont feel freaked out about it! It’s quite the experience. You do not have to put together a portfolio at all. Just make sure your set on your degree program , apply to the school, ask all of your questions no matter big or small ask! Ask! Ask! Make sure your getting all the information you want to know. Onboarding was super stress free they want to know about you and your interests the staff were terrific.

Thanks for posting this! I have been looking at the Visual Design Certificate at Full sail - its under the graphic design umbrella but its shorter than a BS. I received a BS in Fashion merchandising from Florida State U in 1994 but because of how much the world has changed, and I went into sales (different career track), I am having to go back to school. I was really wanting to study Fashion Design so I loved that you said you want to start a fashion clothing line!! That was one of my reasons for just being really unsure if I should do this program or not. Its going to cost me $10,500 for the certificate and I really just don't know what I'm going to do at the end of it. I think i want to be a Product Development Manager (the fashion kind, not the tech job that has a similar name). So there is some design element to this. Ultimately I am doing it because I need new skills. Like I said, the world has changed and I need to adapt to it. Thanks for your post! Cant wait to see your clothing line. Message me if you want to connect! I'm in Raleigh, NC.

To me thus far I would say it's worth it. You're not only being provided everything you need you're being provided with more! It's not just learning graphic design like other schools. You're also taking courses on business, client relation classes, marketing and more. I know $64,000 is a HUGE sum of money but if you're passionate about your future plans with your degree wouldn't it worth it to you? On top of that you don't have to be in school for an entire 4 year timeline its only two. I say do it, make sure you're doing what's best for you. I love it!
