I've just learned that Oninaki is directed by Takashi Tokita ! Good news for me : he directed Chrono Trigger (although there were many other designers and scenario writers) and Parasite Eve. But he especially directed and wrote the story of an EXCELLENT game called "Live A Live" (a very unknown RPG on SNES which was surprising and had a very good story). By knowing that, now I'm waiting for this RPG much more than before, because Tokita is very gifted at writing very good stories in RPG. It looks much more interesting than Setsuna and Lost Sphear.

The smaller gmes are fine (like ocropath traveler etc.) Triple A Square games became really bad over the years - sadly. KH3 and FFXV were the most disappointing things I ever saw in gaming.

I love that Square Enix hasn’t given up on Tokyo RPG Factory. This is exactly the art direction that I wanted them to go in, and I can’t wait to give this game a shot.

@@gamerprince-tl5hg I didn't get Lost Sphear because it looked too similar to I am Setsuna. I am Setsuna is actually my first game that i got for my switch so it's a special one for me. This Game looks way different than the previous games and the story sound already interesting that i'm almost sure that i get this game.

It honestly looks like an interesting game.

as soon as the cardridge version drops or a pre-order, i'm on this! oh yeah, games: fire emblem 3 houses, ofc links awakening even if i played the game boy game countless times to the end, and *if they will release them then* because its already mid winter, grandia 1 and 2 hd remaster and hope for my own sake they are cardridge versions because i will not buy them digital thats not for me.

I watched this trailer like 10 time already for the ost from 1:42 It sounds really beautiful and sad and the speech is powerful. I most likely get this game.

While you're at it look into Zelda breath of the wild, I am Setsuna and Xenoblade 2. They may be games closer to your likes

I loved I am setsuna and lost sphere. I really don’t care if those games were mediocre but this game looks amazing I do hope it blows me away as a JRPG fan

The devs really improved over their past games. I'm loving the unique art style they went with. And the gameplay looks pretty cool as well. Day one for me.

This is a day one purchase for me. I am Setsuna and Lost Sphear were wonderful RPGs. If you haven't played either of them, I recommend you do so. Tokyo RPG Factory is doing an excellent job so far.
