This is a song about our ancestral home, Mau Forest in Kenya. Mau Forest is the ancestral home of the Ogiek indigenous community. The song is encouraging people to protect the forest, protect the water tower, and the source of food. It also encourages people to green the planet to fight the current crisis, climate change.
Ongerib Tumdo has been dedicated to all the young indigenous people fighting to restore their ancestral home. It is also a call to action.
