Davide Ongaro, who won the IFMAR 1/8 Engine Off-Road World Championship, has signed with O.S. SPEED since 2021.
This time, "O.S. SPEED B21 ONGARO EDITION", which has been modified according to his feeling, was born! Based on the latest off-road engine O.S. SPEED B2104, the crankshaft has been changed to a counter web shape and use of single tungsten weight crankshaft specially made for this engine to suit his driving style. The inner head is also specially designed combustion chamber, and the synergistic effect of these realizes a smooth feeling and more powerful top end. In addition, the outer head adopts a standard round type, and the laser marking of ONGARO's original logo mark creates a racing atmosphere.
A new size 5.8mm/6.3mm black anodized restrictor is also used for the carburetor to create an "Engine that can win big races" that matches his requirements.
We also have a combo set that includes the TB02(As known as T-2090) EFRA 2089 tuned silencer and the exhaust system of the /MB01-75 (75mm) manifold.

OS defiantly has NOT gone down in quality my guy, the insert affects case volume, some engines like less volume some like a little more, it changes the characteristic of the engine. in this case, if OS didn't put a insert in, then there was a reason for it thought their testing. i also noticed the port cuts in the case for the boost port, that opens up the port as well as lowering volume. my B06 and some other OS engines with the new case doesn't have that. pretty interesting engine. with the added case volume im willing to bet its a very smooth powerband with a solid top end. love your videos and keep it up!

There should be putty in the crank as it shows on there website I’d say OS quality control has gone down

I looked on Beach RC they show that crank being filled. I have a B21 AD2 & AD3. The crankshafts in those motors have 2 slugs & seem a little nicer. You can see it on the Drake web site. Thanks for all your awesome videos!!!

Weird that it doesn't get the silicone ramp treatment. Wonder if OS has figured that it doesn't help or possibly slightly hurts (barely added rotational mass) or something. If that's the case, gotta figure all OS's bout to stop getting the silicone.

What is the best engine you would recommend for my mugen mbx8r 1/8 buggy. Ongar or Adam drake ? Os or other brand? You input would be appreciated

I believe the track is still there but he basically shut it down, definitely no racing, you have to look the track up on Facebook and send them a message for the address. We were instructed not to give out the address
