I can't help but smile after watching whole performance. "Sukhumvit Swimming" got such a fun choreography. It's good to see them having fun on stage while singing such a refreshing song.

i dont get why onf hasnt exploded yet in popularity. all of their songs are great, easily above average in terms of quality in kpop. theyre good looking and perform well. their company is putting out quality content (mvs are great, styling, choreos, etc.). whats missing? i guess some groups have to wait a bit longer for it

@@morrmie9976 i completely agree with you that its unfair how groups from big companies are practically guaranteed success while groups from smaller companies sadly have to rely on luck bc people wont give them a listen. that being said im an atiny, thats why i brought the topic up. ateez and many other groups from small companies do well as long as they have the talent and the music, which onf does! lets just hope theyll slowly grow into the popularity, like for example sf9 did. i pity ppl who haven't listened to their discography yet lol

@@asserm.8047 It's not exactly unfair. While it's true artist from big companies are practically guaranteed success, it's actually harder to debut in big companies. I watched a program where girl group member of seven different company talking about the struggle as trainees. All of them have the same struggle but when somi (from jyp) talked about the struggle to compete with other trainee, only seulgi(from sm) can relate. Those two shared about how it's harder to be accepted in big companies and even harder to stay because of competition among other trainees. In reality, many trainees audition for big companies first before go to small company, and that's why the competition as trainees in big companies is already so hard.

@@metahuman5223 i knew about that already. what i think is unfair is the perception by the korean public of groups that are not from big companies. groups from big companies get hyper-analyzed yet in the other hand groups from small companies dont get as much attention. this can only be perceived if we contrast their behavior with that of international fans, which are much more open to stanning new groups. also... kids from small companies also work for a ridiculous amount of hours during their trainee days. id completely agree with you if trainees from big companies, besides competing for a spot in the group, also put in an exorbitant amount of hours a day while others didn't. trainees from small companies also have added pressures and stresses, such as their company not having enough money to give them food or proper accommodation, or not being able to debut/last long due to monetary reasons. tldr: i dont think this specific point you brought up tips the scale towards "fairness" completely. everyone listen to onfs bsides

I'm just here again in the comments section to list the reasons why I love MK sooooo much: 1. He co-composed this song and a bunch of ONF b-sides. 2. He almost got hit by a car trying to save a cat. 3. He always goes around with cat food so he can feed stray cats if he finds one. He loves all animals but he feeds stray cats because they are easier to find than stray dogs. 4. All his pets at home were rescues. 5. His dream is to give shelter to all stray animals. PS. I LOVE ALL ONF MEMBERS. EVERYONE BIAS WRECKS ME. BUT I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW HOW MK IS SUCH A FURRY BOY.

Hyojin's outfit is here is honestly probably one of the best in K-Pop. It's simple, fits the concept and group and really looks good specifically on him.

I love ONF's stage presence. They're literally having fun and so free on stage😭😭😭.

This song is so addictive.. Plus this stage is really good (despite the terrible camera work). They have more presence now.. Like their confidence is now higher than ever.. I hope they keep this up..

i don't know my wind instruments but that oboe (?) is one of the most unique hooks I've heard for a kpop song in a long time - it's fantastic!

For those of you wanting to know more about ONF, here’s some basic information about them! ONF, otherwise known as On and Off, debuted on August 3rd, 2017 under WM Entertainment, originally with seven members. However, Laun left the group in 2019. ONF is split into two teams: ON team and OFF team! Below is more about the members :) 0:25 - Hyojin: main vocalist, a ‘94 liner, and the ON team leader! His MBTI is ESFJ, he’s been best friends with J-Us for ten years, and he was actually supposed to debut with the final MixNine group (since he ranked 2nd) :’) 0:31 - J-Us: lead dancer, vocalist, rapper, ‘95 liner, and the OFF team leader! His MBTI is ENFP, he talks in his sleep, and he likes watching dramas :) 0:37 - Wyatt: main rapper, lead dancer, vocalist, ‘95 liner, and my bias! He’s a part of the OFF team, his MBTI is ENFP, and he’s good at krumping (a sub-genre of dance) 0:44 - MK: lead vocalist, sub rapper, and a ‘95 liner! Thank you for checking ONF out. They are incredibly talented crackheads (just like every artist in WM) 🤣 All their songs are bops and all their MVs are cinema quality, not to mention that all MVs are connected with one another. They always try to film in abandoned places (other MVs were shot in the US, Russia, Vietnam etc) but due to covid19, Sukhumvit Swimming was filmed indoors
