Breaking News! Windows can also run on the Steam Deck. I have my Steam Deck dual booted on the internal 512 GB SSD with Windows 10 and have been enjoying it a lot. I have Gampass on my Steam Deck (not XCloud Streaming). I was even able to play Call of Duty MW II during the beta on Ultra settings and loved it. Lately, I have been playing Overwatch 2 and that game runs like a champ on the Steam Deck even on high settings. I can play any game from any launcher on my Steam Deck. So, a lot of the limitations for the Steam Deck you named are not actually Steam Deck limitations, but SteamOS limitations, which is why I recommend most Steam Deck users who have a diverse library of games (not just on Steam) to dual boot.

for the price the steam deck is unbeatable. 1tb micro sd card was at 90.00 last week, steam deck 64gb is crazy cheap. plus anything fails it's easy to replace. intel is going to be awesome if xess works at some point tho

@@MistaJGames It doesn't, unfortunately. I have the 1165G7 OXP, and there are games that don't work on it due to drivers. Where as the Steam Deck plays them flawlessly. In time Intel has lots of potential, but at the moment, it's trial and error with a lot of games.

Yes but Steamdeck cannot save AAA games title in the device & playing it offline bro..SteamDeck need online to Steam Platform to play the AAA PC titles games..Thats why cheap than OXP..

How do the thumbsticks compare to an Xbox controller? Do they feel small and crappy like a Switch?

I got one for $280 on eBay but is the AMD 6800U version because the screen had a hairline crack works perfect I just installed a screen protector and it’s good to go

Can you connect a Egpu?

Just to clarify this does not have a OLED screen? Is that correct?

I wouldn’t buy an intel based handheld. First they consume too much power and their drivers suck and aren’t optimized like amd. Like you can see in this video Spider-Man doesn’t run correctly.

Why on earth release a hand held with,on paper, killer specs, that you can only play games on the lowest graphic settings to maintain 60fps? It doesn't make sense. Or did I miss something!

why do you expect high end performance from a hand held? mobiles cpu/gpu/apu are power restricted. this isn't a desktop pc.

@@MistaJGames because the manufacturer has built this thing with "high end specs" . I understand the limitations of the form factor, I don't understand the manufacturers point of cramming this specification into a hand held knowing the limitations of the form factor.

The size of the screen means that trying to tell the difference between ultra and low are difficult if not impossible most of the time.

Hey Marc, I am a PC and console player from Puerto Rico, we’ve been recently having problems with our power and now big storms because of the hurricane season and even tho I have a Switch Lite, I would love to play my pc games while the power is out. I was wondering you could do a give away of some sort of one of the portable pc gaming devices that you own but don’t use much? We are right now dealing with the process of a giant tropical storm and while playing Assassin’s Creed Unity on my PC, the power went out and I quickly searched you up to watch Unity gameplay on the Steam deck. I’ve been a subscriber for a really long time, you were the reason I got a PS Vita and the reason I got a Switch as well, but times have changed and now we can play steam games on the go. I know it ain’t likely you reply, but keep the awesome content. I know you said you were Puerto Rican as well in one of your very old PS Vita videos a fee years back and it shocked me, I used to watch you literally every day and when you said that I was shocked. Thank you for your entertainment.
