Sick video! I love how descriptive your review is. I got my first OW, a Pint X, and I'm already thinking about a different tire. I'm an amateur snowboarder and I love carving deep on my PX and feeling like I'm hanging off the board. I want a tire that can tackle light offroading but not compromise the carvability and smooth road feel

I just installed this tire and the quart battery and at 155lbs and 20psi I’ve got 10-15 miles the last 2 charges and I love it. Mostly a hybrid rider

I have the same setup and I can't get 15 miles, usually between 10-12 with the Quart. I also find it's a bit slower, usually 13-14 mph, rarely higher with significant, sustained pushback. PSI 20-22, 180lbs. But I have no issues carving, definitely more road noise especially on pavement. Still a great tire, got almost 100 miles on it, 200 total 🤘

@@AbsoluteKhan. just under 500 miles now. But I changed out the treaded for a Hoosier slick in D10a. Get wayyyyy better mileage now, around 16ish miles a charge, and it's soooo smooth and quiet

Yeah I put a narrower tire on my XR the first week I had the thing. Absolutely love the carving but it's not the best going up grassy uphills but shines everywhere else.

Loving the C&R-Burris treaded on my Pint. Not just maneuverability and carving, but overall helps me on uneven pavement too. I am slowly building my XR, buying what I want to put on when I get the board. Can you please do a video that compares all the XR treaded tires, so I can decide what to order? Thanks!

Scott, have you tried the pint c and r treaded Burris tire on the xr? Also did you try the nimbus on an xr? I have both of these tires considering putting on my xr from stock. Thank you for any info.

5:35 did you forget a screw in that fender delete? The back corner facing the camera appears to be lifted up like theres no screw holding it down.

Unfortunately this is usually terminal. However, seems it holds air still try some 2 part epoxy glue/resin into and over the crack. Hopefully it’ll hold. Get a brand name (araldite etc). Another option is to find someone one who can tig weld and get them to lay a light bead of weld over it (with the hub dismantled and the tire removed). Then just file and sand the weld back and give it a nice coat of spray paint. Or source a replacement from somewhere. You might get lucky and find a part used one. How’s this helps 👍

Just got this tire recently. At 20 psi, its def not as carvable as the factory tire. But at 25+ psi, this one carves so much better, pretty much almost the same as factory.

I like my PSI around 18 so that I am not bouncing all over the place

I live in the country. I use my pint x on pavement like 50% of the time the other 50% its grass, dirt roads and gravel driveway. I love the feeling of almost snowboarding and carving... Yet the slick tire just slips or kinda has that bucking sensation that can throw you off... Does anyone have a recommendation for a good tire. That is a decent hybrid all terrain better then the stock slick tire i have. Also i thought water and one wheels was bad.... I always try to avoid mine on even damp pavement.

@@ScotMendenhall they are from Craft & Ride and are rubbery foot pads that are used instead of grip tape. My copy and paste isn’t working sorry no link :)

what happened to promising me u would put the pint tire on the xr making it the growler ? i know your busy it was cold last time we spoke but you do reviews it would help me decide if i should but the growler kit or not thanks scott god bless

Is it on the wrong way? This way the tire will draw in water/mud to the centre rather than drive it out the sides.... just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can’t help the ride either. ... waiting for mine to arrive but not super chuffed about the sounds of the road handling.

Do you realize the tire is on backwards?

I highly dislike the treaded as it drains battery bad and feela more like a wheel from a car than how the slick feels. only good thing about tread is it goes over everything

I see no range difference on mine. I'm around 165 like Scot, and I get ~9mi on stock slick / C&R-Burris treaded. So there's more to it than the tire.
