The production team is mainly them. They write, compose and arrange. Neighborhod friends started a band. Then invited the lead singer after hearing at a competition. The B-sides are crazy good. Also the covers. Amazing talents. RWB signature is vocals and musicianship.

ONEWE (One-we) had my top song of 2020 with this song, and top song of 2021 with AuRoRa. They are starting of well this year with Universe. You may not like every song but they consistently create music I fall in love with. Thanks for giving them a second look.

Yeah, I love this song too. For me, their songs are just masterpieces. The latest Planet nine: Alter ego and Voyager albums were amazing. I really love to listen to every song of them. Especially, their live performances are amazing. My first listened song was Regulus. These days I love to listen to their new songs. Their new songs are made by each member. I hope you make more reactions to them. Whatever song chooses you would like them. Thanks a lot for this too.

You should give in to that temptation; One-we is correct. 😉 They _can_ all dance to one degree or another; they had to learn fast when they were competing in the Unit. Keyboardist Dongmyeong even got complimented by Rain... but it's not a thing they do on the regular. This song was written by guitarist Kanghyun based on a recurring dream in which the Earth is hit by an asteroid, and asks what you'd want to say to your loved ones if you knew you were all about to die. Onewe are _extremely_ versatile. They all compose their own songs, and don't tie themselves to one genre; they basically write whatever they're in the mood for, and they can - and do - make masterpieces of the most _ridiculous_ subject matter... 😜 I've scanned your playlist, and I can't find any other Onewe songs... what did you see before? The last thing he checked out was Rain to Be!! His main issue with it was that he didn’t think the music video particularly suited the sound of the song (the aggressive way they were moving/dancing as they played their instruments was a bit too dramatic since the actual instrumental wasn’t super powerful, if I recall correctly)

You need to check out some of their live performances! Strict diet of CDs, ONEWE. (IF you're feeling particularly adventurous, I would suggest their 30-minute mini-concert on I'm Live, so you get several songs and they also talk a little bit about the songs). Their stage energy and presence are just *chef's kiss* Also would recommend AuRoRa if you're looking for something with a lot of punch, End of Spring if you want something bouncy and fun, and either Reminisce About All and/or A Book in Memory for something more soft and dramatic.

Thank you for another Onewe reaction! They are very skilled artists, so I love seeing other people appreciating their music. I 100% agree about Parting being a good introduction to Onewe-it was the first song of theirs that caught my attention, and even before I decided to check out the rest of their music, I found myself relistening to Parting often. If you liked the strength of Parting, I definitely recommend checking out AuRoRa, Regulus, and Ring on My Ears. They also have a lot of slower, ballady songs, which are beautiful if you are into that sort of music.

How did I miss this reaction? Maybe I didn't subscribe til after you posted it. Anyway, this is one of my favorite Onewe songs and is often the one Weves recommend first, as you suggested. Great comments about the rhythmic variations they utilize throughout the song, which really keeps it moving and surprising, tho they do it so smoothly that I always got caught up in the momentum rather than really notice the shifting rhythm until you pointed it out. One of my favorite bits is when Kanghyun changes to reggae style syncopated chords on guitar. The arrangement is very creative and extremely well thought out and executed. Parting is such a well crafted song and then you add the memorable melody and the terrific vocals and it becomes a great song. How Onewe remains one of Korea's best kept musical secrets is beyond me.

Glad you enjoyed this song from them and thank you for reviewing another song from them! I love your honest musical analysis and your attention to detail for both your reviews. I love every release from Onewe (pronounced as two words, One - We) but i get why you thought Rain to Be needed a bit more "oomf" factor. Both of the songs you reviewed were composed and written by the guitarist, Kanghyun, and he does tend to do better with steady paced songs like Parting. All of their discography are composed and sometimes produced by the members. The bassist/rapper, Cya (kee-ya) and the main vocalist Yonghoon are the other two that do a lot of songwriting, though their most recent mini album release has compositions by all five members, with songwriting debuts from the keyboardist/vocalist Dongmyeon and drummer Harin. Their skill and musicality are top-notch, and they are very versitle so I'm sure you will find more songs from them you like! My personal favorite from them is "Regulus", but their more classic rock like songs like "Trauma" and "Eraser" are also up there. If your looking for more of a pop-rock sound, "End of Spring" is a good one. And if your looking for some excellent rock ballads, "A Book in Memory", "Star", and their veryvery recent release "Universe_" are very recommended!
