I literally couldn’t find this song for 12 years. I heard it in the radio when I was like 5 and it stuck in my memory but I didn’t know the title. For years i’ve been listening to old music in order to find it but i somehow didn’t. I didn’t even remember whose it was. I would sing it to friends but they didn’t know it. And now I’m sitting in bed at almost 1 am and i found it and i’m crying and laughing and i’m so happy but i can’t scream because everyone is asleep and I just wanted to share this moment here.

Isn’t it so strange how all of us are in different parts of the world with our own lives and our own separate thoughts and yet we all connect our childhood to something so simple like this song and it causes such a strong emotion, but everyone feels it differently. All of us think of a different memory or just the feeling of being younger and more innocent.

this song should really be up there in the billions not just 175m... One of the most amazing songs I've heard and so many connect to it from childhood or teenage years, listening to it now after 8 years since the first time I heard it, I realize the song is possibly about corruption and power abuse, those who wear masks are always two steps ahead, they've got all the right friends in the right places, and all the right moves with the right faces, everything matches perfectly to create a safe ground for "they". They who are better than us, because of their power and connections, even if we got it good, they are the ones who got it made. So then we look up at them and ask "do you think I'm special, nice enough to shine in your spaces, in your slots in this club of people with more power and connections?".. They'll take us down, before anybody's knowing our names... This song is heart breaking, and I was singing it with her and we smiled, because we never understood the words..

This song is very special to me, likely for a similar reason to you reading this. I remember this was one of those songs that would come on 97x Tampa quite a bit, but I didn't give a shit. I was simply enjoying this wonderful track each and every time and I intend to keep that tradition alive even if it doesn't get radio play much anymore. Godspeed, everyone and best wishes.

At the beginning of 2010, I got into the hospital. I lied there for a half of a year. There was so boring, I was feeling like in a jail. Thank God, there was a TV in my room, and I liked watching different musical channels. Tracks like "Mia Martina - Tu Me Manques", "Radio Killer - Voila", and this one made my long hospital term colorful. Sad thing that I was only nine years old. This song makes me contemplate life.

This brings me back to my first camping trip with a group of just my freinds. I was 13, qmd we played ultimate frizzy in a huge filud with a light up frizby. Life was good. No parents. 16 of us. All sitting around and playing the radio. Then hit digs and lake by morning. First time I drank and tried pot. It takes me back. That was over 11 years ago

I still remember listening to this song on the radio, I was in the 8th grade in 2009... It makes me sad when I think about those moments and how they are gone forever lost and never to be visited again.

Back then I remember camping at this campground, they would hire the same DJ every Saturday night and he’d play all the popular music of that time and I danced til I couldn’t dance anymore! This was one of my favourite songs for sure, but LMFAO was lit, you had Owl city, Shawn Kingston with fire burning, just such a crazy time to be alive. Looking back at it now, I remember growing up getting later into my teens. That campground got sold to a different company. And they stopped doing dances. Along with those times the music just wasn’t the same. And life just felt so boring after that. ( I hope you don’t mind the life story )! 😅

I remember when One Republic opened up for U2 and Ryan Tedder was so full of energy and ran by everyone on the rails and gave everyone a high five. He loves his work. He is immensely talented. All of One Republic is. But nothing makes an audience happier than a performer who is happy you are happy enjoying their creativity. I became a fan right then and there!
