Oneplus is a joke. My oneplus 7t from 2019 has better camera than 12r. When realme 12 pro can give periscope lens at 31k inr why not oneplus. Keep aside periscope they could have given same ultra wide lens as my oneplus 7t which was around 16mp and also had 2x lens 😂😂. Right now nothing 2 at 35k makes more sense. I am saying this after being with oneplus ecosystem since beginning and personally owned 3t and still having 7t

Thinking of upgrading my old phone and this might be a good deal

Well, it really couldn't have been a T model last year or any other year going forward. At this point, OnePlus has discontinued the T variance. That's also another reason that they have restructured their lineup and are no longer using titles such as Pro, Plus or Ultra. Moving forward, the numbered model is the flagship and the R is the scale down regular version. Personally, I like what they're doing and it makes a lot of sense. It also sets them apart from their competition.

I just bought this replacing my s7 edge. Battery life is amazing and that fast charging is just wow. Dont really mind the camera since im not that into photography but you will enjoy this if you are a gamer

It's not "milli-Ampere", it's "milli-Amp-hour". Ampere is a unit of current, how much charge moves through a circuit over time. It would be like saying your car's mileage is 80 km/hour.

i bought it because i dont want to pay extra 300 for snap gen 3 and cameras. I have a dlsr for good pictures

Good job on the video. I just ordered the 12R and can't wait for it to come in. I used to own a OnePlus and really liked it. OnePlus is trying hard to grow in the US market (they currently have less than 1% of the market). Because of that they will give you more for less.

How did you get the orange shutter button on your camera? I thought the R didn't get the Hassellblad cameras.

I have a Razr 2023, Pixel 8, Edge plus 2022, Note 20 5g, and the 12R (I'm a bit of a phone techy)...without question, the 12R is my favorite. Functionality, weight, feel in the hand, etc is by far the best.

Left my edge+22 for the 12R. Miss some little things about the edge+ but overall the 12R is much better. Plus updates on Motorola are terrible

I have the 1+ 12R Love it only Gripe really is the Charging Screensaver I cannot find where to Turn it off. No Option like older 1+ phones. I am referring to the Bright Glowing pulsating screen.

Do you have smart charging enabled? If so, try turning that off. Mine just goes to the always on display when charging...so I know it has to be a setting vs capability.

I just recently purchased the OnePlus 12 r and I was wondering is anybody having the same issue that I'm having where the hey Google voice detection will not work?

I wish it had a flat screen I'm sick of curved screens

USA gets lower wattage chargers due to some reasons.

I know they did a lot with thermal management have you guys noticed any significant improvement to thermals versus other SD 8 G2 devices?

usually on midrange phones the microphone are quite bad. like on my Nothing phone 1, the video camera quality is perfect but the microhphone is very bad. so i'm wondering, is the microphone good on this one ?

its more powerful and has many more features than the 10 pro but we don't have video out or 4k 120 but otherwise the main camera will be good and you will notice the new speed and benefits of the 8 gen 2

I'm debating between the 256GB and the Moto Edge+ 2023 with 512GB, same price, upgrading from a Pixel 7 so I can have better battery life, faster charging, and better performance, what would you recommend more?

Motorola is terrible with updates and going to the parent company (Lenovo) for help is a waste of time. All you get is company handbook answers. I went with the 12R over the edge+22

it makes sense because everything else that costs the same is shittier? s23 fe is slightly more expensive and has the trash tier sd 8 gen 1. I guess if you compare it to used prices for sd 8 gen 2 phones from last year it is expensive but uh.

I just picked up the OnePlus ace 3 from Europe, it's got oxygen OS flashed over colour os and has ufs 4.0 while the 12r has only 3.1 now it's 700 euro in Europe for the 12r but I picked up the ace 3 for 386 euro 😅 sucker's

I think its the best phone for the money....people think camera makes a difference it dont to me battery, fast chager ,display ,remote control 8 gen 2 i love it.... feels like my apple 🍎 but the price was way higher....cant tell the difference.... apple or one plus...

Just bought this replacing my s22 ultra. This is miles better in almost every way. Yes, Samsung's screen might be bit sharper blah blah but for all practical purposes this is a way better phone. Better battery, significantly faster, light years faster charging speed, main camera rivals s22 ultra and that 8k UHD gimmick that Samsung has is useless anyway since it fills up your storage in a second.

I've had mine for a week and I'm loving it
