I heard several negative comments from certain reviewers about the OnePlus 11's camera; Of course, I have only done 1 test, but it is fine. The quality is decent, only the sound when there is wind, there was not such a strong wind and when zooming it could perhaps be a little smoother without the stuttering.
You can use the zoom up to a maximum of approximately 4 times for the best quality, if you go a little further you will see that the image is a lot less good, which is normal if you go to 10 times. The S23 Ultra and iPhone Max will do this better, , but you will also pay 500 to 800 euros more. (In Belgium). Update; the pixel 8 pro has better zoom then the S23 and the OnePlus 11.
The OnePlus 11 does not have the best stabilization or video camera, but watch the video on your 55 inch TV like me in 4K/OLED and then you will see that the quality is decent and zooming in a bit is also good + the stabilization is also decent but can be better and has to be better.
Don't forget when I walk, I walk quite fast and when you film, you usually stand still ;). I think the 1st test was quite decent, if you want the very best video camera? You will have to go for the iPhone pro models or the S23/S24 Ultra. I gonna buy the S24 Ultra. The OnePlus 11 is okay but if i go to Tomorrowland or Rammstein, i need the better video camera ;).
I will have to test further to give a final opinion, there must be a day with more sun and a day with more wind, these are 2 factors that a smartphone sometimes has a hard time with.
Do I recommend the OnePlus 11? Yes and no. Do you want a nice screen? A fast smartphone (which you can make a little faster yourself), decent sound, decent photos, a phone that fits well in the hand, a decent finger scanner, 120hz refresh rate, 5G, dual SIM, good sound quality from the speakers and a decent battery life , especially on WiFi, then the OnePlus 11 will be enough for you. It is a great phone but theire are a few better phones but you gonna pay more.
Are you someone who finds the video camera very very important and a good video zoom and the selfie camera important? Then I would rather not recommend the OnePlus 11. (Zooming in and out also needs to be improved).
The selfie camera is not as good as some other devices and the selfie camera is not sharp enough for me.
Another small downside is the brightness; if it's sunny outside, it's less pleasant, otherwise it's okay.
