Everyone loved OnePlus even with countless problems those phones had. I still use my wonderful yet filled with bugs OP6. But what OPPO did to OxygenOS is unforgivable. OnePlus commited suicide with this move. No one should recommend OnePlus anymore until they either bring back real OxygenOS or kill it. Current hybrid nonsense is not acceptable.

My Oneplus 6 got motherboard dead on its own 3 days back. Before that everytime i used it ,it gave me a alot of satisfaction and thats a big thing for an almost 4 yr old phone. But its hard for me to let go of my precious photos and videos🙁

Still using my OP6. Didn't have any software issues, just battery wear. Even after replacing the battery, it's life isn't the best. Other than that and the camera, no other reason to upgrade.

OnePlus is such a shell of its former self. It’s a shame because I used to really love their products.

Number 1 in your "5 Best" should have been the Antennas/Connectivity. I live in a rural and get 3 to 4 bars 5G, no dropped calls. In comparison, the S22 Ultra I tried first barely got 1 bar and more often than not, had no bars, no reception, and no data. Had the same issues with Note 8 years ago and switched the OnePlus 6T for that reason. When 5G first came out in my area, I tried the Note 20 and no 4G or 5G signal, so switched back to my aging 6T. My 6T finally gave out, so tried the S22 Ultra (hoping they got the connectivity issues worked out), but no dice. Took it back and got the 10 Pro and boom, no data loss or dropped calls.

This is good to know. Went from a OnePlus 8 pro on Google Fi to a Galaxy s22 ultra on at&t. Not really liking the Samsung experience plus I was having major signal and call quality issues. I was thinking it was the fact that I switched to at&t but based on your comment, I'm starting to think it's probably the phone itself or maybe a combination of both the phone and the new carrier. That said, I'm getting the OnePlus 10 pro and going back to Google Fi. Update: followed through with my plan. Have now been using my OnePlus 10 pro for a couple months with no issues. That said, it was the s22 ultra that was the issue. Confirmed.

@@xfiringsquadx so i live near a metropolis city and my data on my xiomi pocoF1 doesnt switch from lte and phone calls, rather internet and making calls; i have to manually adjust the settings every time and it gets annoying. its like phones are putting all these features but are forgetting that we need to use it for the primary purpose

I just got the OnePlus 10 Pro. After all of my data was transferred from my old phone, some of my text messages were automatically deleted. Where is the setting to stop the phone from deleting text messages automatically?

Used my OP6 for close to 5 years by now. I was able to get a new OP10 Pro for under 350 Euro, because of a very favorable exchange rate between ARS and EUR at the moment with visa. (370 = 1 EUR instead of 200 = 1EUR). Even ordered another phone before the oneplus was available so I'm going to almost break even lol. Probably gonna put LineageOS on it when it comes out for the 10 pro, unless I don't have a problem with the new OxygenOS. Didn't want a new phone, I actually wanted to wait for a few more months, but I really wanted to have a 120Hz display and a larger battery for a while now.

Oxygen OS use to be the strongest point of OnePlus and it is now counted in negative parts of their phones. Time has changed surely! Oxygen OS is a prime example of 'don't try to fix something which is not broken in first place'... OnePlus is definitely settled...

It seems OnePlus never managed to actually integrate the OnePlus spirit with Android 12, like at all. I regret upgrading my OP9 Pro to Android 12 and when i purchased the OP10 Pro, I hoped they had managed to get back on their original path.

I don't think it's the same panel, there's new hardware capabilities this year.

Curved screen edges need to go away. They distort the screen, it's harder to hold, tempered screen protectors don't work, and cases don't fit as well.

@@jokerrhe I have slim cases. The problem with curved screens is that the sides need to be shorter and leave the sides of the screen uncovered which makes the whole screen more susceptible to damage when dropped.

I feel like maybe it's just a bad year to buy a phone period.

Can you remove or delete the Google search bar from home screen? Can you choose manual exposure while videotaping? Can you change the icons shape?

Wat, yo my 8t used a qr code to scan from the screen on a transfer app from a Galaxy S9+, then I used a QR code scanner to go from my 8t to my 10 pro with the OnePlus transfer app, whatcha talking about dude

There is a qr code scanner, it's been here a while. But for some reason, they moved it from the regular camera app to the Google lens app. So you'll have to press the Google lens icon in the camera app to be able to scan qr codes

The browser has a QR code scanner. In the address bar just hit the camera icon. At least in Edge mobile it does.

I bought this and I am very happy. Had many OnePlus phones and this is the best I have had so far. Battery is incredible, big step up on the camera compared to my OnePlus 8 Pro. Is it as good as Apple and Samsung camera wise maybe not but more than enough for me. All the things that matter it has right. It came with a charger and good protector case too. I liked these touches. Apple and Samsung left a bad taste in my mouth on price and no charger. I mean seriously!?!!!!

Just came from a OnePlus 8 pro and went to a Galaxy s22 ultra. Call me crazy but I like the camera on the OnePlus 8 pro better than the s22 ultra. That said, I'll have a OnePlus 10 pro coming in the mail today and the s22 ultra is getting returned.

3 major updates? I was lucky to get 1 on my 7T, after owning every OnePlus up to the 7T I was done with them, unfortunately the pixel is trash, I’m over bored with Samsung and the iPhone is stale. I miss the old days where we actually had a dozen really good phones to choose from every year.

7T launched with A10, for A11 and is scheduled to get A12. Base 7 launched with A9, got 10, 11 and is scheduled to get 12.

I have problems with 9 pro . Cas to slow take 1 hour plus to full and when i charge off phone stuck att 98% never full

i have a OnePlus 6T for 5+ years. I bought it when OnePlus 8 was already there in the market. Before OnePlus I had to change phone every 1.5 years. My OnePlus 6T is so cool. Absolutely no issues and solid performance. I use it for approximately 6-7 hours for video browsing. Still full charge over 39 minutes. Will it just die one day? I can't think anything but OnePlus now because it never lags, never fridges or hang. What phone should I look for now?

I'm very confused on what you're on about. If you mean there are no curved tempered glass screenprotectors then you are extremely wrong lol. They are hard to install, but if you don't trust yourself just let a professional do it. At the Mediamarkt here in the Netherlands it's free when you buy the screenprotector in the store.

Why you don't mention 10 Pro has no micro camera either. That sucks.

Just broke my Pixel 7 Pro Screen. I was shook seeing these OnePlus 10 Pro for only $289 refurbished and $418 Brand New. I might be going back to OnePlus. Hopefully its a Good Phone. I had the 9 Pro and it was a Good little Device. I hate the Color OS Chinese Apple Rip Off. Wish they would go back to a AOSP Rom based OS. We don't want or need extra gunk in our Android Phones. What made the OG OnePlus great was that it came with Cyanogenmod out of the Box.

Color OS is actually the best. I had the color pellets on my Oppo Find X2 Pro before google brought it on Android 12. I had the virtual memory system on my Oppo Find X2 Pro before Samsung brought it on their phones. Things like screen shots and scroll screen shots are better on Oppo than others. Multi tasking implementation is good on Oppo than others, the list goes on

Apart from the part against Samsung, I sign it like that. It has long been a fact that the manufacturer surfaces are far ahead of the Android versions. That's why, for a while now, I've been amused when Pixel friends brag about getting the latest Android first. For years, Google has only provided features that have long been standard elsewhere. That's why it doesn't matter what the phone stats say. If it weren't for the manufacturer interfaces, Android would never have gotten far beyond Gingerbread.

I have the 8T I'll stick with the 12 GB of ram

They said they will release a 12/256 model later, it does feel that they know there not really selling here anymore. Hope the ultra is good because the pixel 6 pro is available for the same price and is better is some aspects. Also if you really want a one plus phone, the 10 pro makes the 9 pro look like a steal and is a better value

That's misleading. It can read QR codes in the browser and Google Lens, just not in the stock camera app.

Love how clueless people are about features that this phone offers. You can scan QR codes with Google lens that's built directly into the camera application. Love how the video also simply states that the photos are "worse" than the competition rather than show actual examples. Clearly this video was bought and paid for by Samsung

@@m1k33113r I've used both Samsung and OnePlus phones and honestly they both have things they're good at. I favor OnePlus for multiple reasons. Better haptic feedback, better build quality in my opinion, and the fluidity of the software is superb. Samsung has better customization features, brighter screen, and longer software support.

Had it less than one day. Sent it back. Face unlock does not always work. Speakers, depending what you are listening to, do not sound clear. It sounds like you can hear other things going on but other things are not actually going on. Hard to describe, but it's not good. And the vibrate slider is SUPER overrated. Why is that covered so much as if to be incredible? You CAN'T FEEL any vibration. It is mega weak. The vibration is actually stronger when combined with actual sound, which defeats the use of vibration. Closing all apps does not close all apps. There is always at least one that stays open. Camera is horrific in low light. My A52 blows it out of the water in low light. And when you say OK Google, you still have to at random manually unlock the phone. At just 50% brightness, it is not all that bright. I hate to again use my A52 as an example, but at 50% brightness on the A52, it blows most phones out of the water that are maxed at 100%. WAY better phones out there for 900 bucks.
