Nice vid. 2 questions: why didn’t you buy the roadlok for the right hand side (easier access, when on the side stand). And the second question: how expansive was that year service at your Ducati dealer? (I paid € 299)

Two very good questions, at the time of purchasing the roadlok there was only one option which is XRA EUROSPORT LEFT SIDE, checked the fitment link for my bike before committing and regarding the service, I paid £220 which is very reasonable IMO

Hey TIMHARTTT, Yes, I still have this bike, so it's hard to give advice for individuals. Instead, I'll explain why I bought it. I wanted something for long rides on fast, twisting roads and the occasional track day. Eventually, I intended to replace my RSV4 with something more upright for both on and off-track fun. However, it was essential for it to look the part in the garage. This is where the StreetFighter checked all the boxes. The only thing I regret is purchasing the EU4 street-legal exhaust. I should have waited for the Termignoni exhaust which sound absolutely awesome more in line of the RSV4 sounds.". One thing I noticed with my ownership experience, the StreetFighter hate sitting in traffic and if it is a hot day say 30 degree C forget it, the StreetFighter need to breath in hot weather for best performance

Did you try the Pani v4? I’m unsure which to buy. The Sfv4 grey Nero is stunning. Something about the Pani calling me though.

Yes, I had the Panigale V4s during my California Superbike School training. It was absolutely a dream to ride, so much so that I really wanted it. However, I couldn’t justify having two superbikes, so I bought the SFV4s instead.

@@TheEarlster awesome. I’ve to try it on demo again. Heat isn’t fun even on a short demo which has me worried. The SF also feels pokier at lower speed- torque is king on the road

​@@markholmes5695 yes certainly go on many demo to decide. To be fair all my bikes over litre run hot it's not funny, the SF need to breathe by keep moving so lots of lane filtering for me, but excellent for urban rides. With the two cylinder cutoff this definitely helps, the new generation SF has more torque, so you won't be disappointed, I saw the new Panigale Racing Replica 2023 yesterday I wanted to trade in my bike, it was drop dead gorgeous, ride safe.

During lockdown was best time to travel on motorbike. Roads were empty ive done 8k miles during first lockdown. And was stopped by police they didnt do anything. Just had to use contact less card and life was good hah.

agree, the road was very quiet, some part of Europe the roads are also quiet it getting there is painful

Another question: You use a disk lock that fits in the tiny space under the rear seat. And I hear you say you can use it on the rear break disk. What’s the brand and type of that lock?

Certainly Maarten, it's XENA - XX6 BLE DISC-LOCK ALARM the 6mm pin fits perfectly in the drilled vented brake disc.

Earlster, have you had any mechanical or electrical issues with the streetfighter v4s ?

Not mechanical(i hope), it tend to run poor like idle issues and cut out, the way round it, is to blips the throttle from time to time but it’s quite annoying when you are in heavy traffic, I’m due for a service soon so I’ll keep you posted.

I've the EU4 Akro exhaust but the road legal version, I should of bought the complete Akro titanium exhaust system but originally I wanted to visit country where the complete titanium exhaust was band
