Party donors and congressmen called on Mr Biden to abandon his run for re-election to the presidency after he fluffed his lines repeatedly and at one point froze completely during the first head-to-head debate of the 2024 election campaign.

I watched a recorded video of the debate from I believe was the Walk Street Journal YTchannel. I felt Byden didn't do well by trying to cram in so much info in his initial statement and then telling to many falsehoods in the rest of the debate. Trump did good but hardly excellent. Keeping on subject by replying to Byden statements helped. Trump going over the border issue was to long, he repeated the issue a few to many times over the 3 time repetition max to drive in a point. I am not sure if Byden replacement will help or hinder the demms. I was surprised Byden left and later went to get something to eat but I think that helped him although I didn't see his complete visit nor his rally the next day.
