Good video, I can't say you've visited Madeira, you visited some of Funchal. There's so much more to the island than Funchal. I would suggest coming back for 1-2 weeks and get a car or at least a tour guide to take you all over the island.

We were in the Muthu hotel and we didn't rent a car because we were mostly in Funchal, but if you intend to see the whole island I strongly recommend to rent a car
you should also visit Algarve
Going to a foreign country expecting everyone to speak English is quite laughable.
