Hi Hari sir. Nice explanation. We are extending an additional room in our old house. Our new room is 10*8. Oru engineer said as area is small , crank on two sides of Lx (8 ft) will be enough. We have used paste to concel with old building on the Ly end (10ft end) ... Will this create any big issues?

Yes as the area and load is very minimal not to worry about it

What would happen if we design a one way slab instead of two way slab room sizes are 17*11,10*10,7*9&9*8
