Magnificent! I’m inspired to try my own version of a spiders web now. I loved the addition of the snail ❤

What fabulous fun, with an amazing result! Love the idea of ghost leaves. That was a perfect subject for playing and (sort of) making it up as you go! 👏👏

Beautiful composition! You answered my question about the pencil under the masking fluid. Loved your final addition of stronger colors to enhance the delicate images underneath.

Really like the online courses & your helpful tips! I envy your years of knowledge & practice. So grateful you share it with us! Good tip with kitchen paper. And, as I have a few dried out hydrangeas I can practice your method again as we did December time.Thanks.

Me too!
I cant wait to try this!! I restarted my watercolors. I found a new package of brushes that shed worse that a cat!! lol..I made a mess of first one out of the new start. Then went to one that held together and what a difference. Even got better control over my paint. I hope this helps someone else--if the brush sheds, dont even start--I found they never stopped shedding, and I had "hairs" all over the painting, the palette and the half pans.

Greetings from Vancouver BC Love the painting...very original....the tip about imprinting leaf shapes with masking fluid is very unique..also a fan of more is more [l like to use a lot of salt in my paintings]...maybe using a pen that has run out of ink could work as a tool for applying masking fluid....they do have fine points.....love your sense of humour, you are so funny.......

Great tips, thank you Michele ! The best tip I ever got from you (the list is long) is using the embossing tool for masking fluid, I love using masking fluid now. Have a great weekend !

Why is a staining colour needed? Love your videos. I'm saving up for one of your courses for winter in Australia.
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber

Well you need one strong dark, (although technically it doesn't have to be a staining one). A painting needs darks and if I chose three light primaries only, I might never get a full range of tones. 🙂
I would leave two likes if I could.
