One-Turn Multi-Lock Arm for Tubing Notcher
To make my new Swag Offroad tube notcher more usable, I made some arms to catch long pieces of round tubing. Space and time are limited here so I decided to make these fold out of the way, rather than completely unscrew from the work bench, be stored somewhere else and forgotten about the next time I need them. I also wanted it to be a quick access arm. Just one bolt to adjust for multidirectional locking. The two flat spots on the horizontal bolt allow the arm to lock perpendicular to it when in use, and lock again when folded down. The length of the cuts in this build are very important because it also has to use friction to hold the long arm up at the exact same point where the tightening bolt bottoms out against the horizontal bolt.
The angle pieces on top can adjust up and down, and side to side. No matter how big the diameter of the tubing is or how warped my old wooden workbench becomes, I can always adjust these to hold tubing straight.
Thanks for watching.

Thank you! I’ve been really torn between doing voiceovers, adding music and using the original audio. So far I’m just doing it the easy way and keeping the original audio. I like the asmr of it as well

Dude, you’re a pro! And how do you get all the cool camera angles? Also, when do we get to hear your voice telling us what each step is?

Dude, thanks! Most of this was recorded with my big Canon camera with a nifty 50mm lens. The wide shots and the moving shots were done with a gopro on various mounts around the shop. My next video with have a proper voiceover. But don't worry, my voice won't be OVER.
