I opened up a mc world, and tried to replicate it myself, I think your missing some of the 1.17 blocks (like in the black-white gradient after the diorite is calcite, a 1.17 block. Here is the list I came up with, based on yours with a few tweaks: Black concrete - Black wool - Black concrete powder - Blackstone - Gray concrete - Gray Wool - Basalt(up) - Smooth Basalt - Gray concrete powder - Deepslate(1.17) - Tuff(1.17) - Light Gray concrete - Stone - Gravel - Andesite - Light Gray wool - Light Gray concrete powder - Diorite - Calcite(1.17) - Smooth Quartz block - White concrete powder - White wool - Snow (unsure)(white concrete was too blue-ey) Brown to cream gradient: Gray Terracotta - Dark Oak log(side) - Spruce log(side) - Dark oak planks - Brown Concrete - Brown wool - Spruce planks - stripped spruce wood - Oak log(side) - coarse dirt - Dirt - Rooted dirt(1.17) - Jungle planks - Stripped Jungle wood - oak planks - Stripped oak wood - Stripped Birch wood - Birch planks - Sand - Smooth Sandstone Blue to teal gradient: Block of Lapis Lazuli - Blue concrete - Blue wool - Blue concrete powder - Dark Prismarine - Warped planks - Warped wart block - cyan wool - Cyan concrete powder - Stripped warped Hyphae - Oxidized copper(1.17) - Oxidized cut copper(1.17) - Prismarine bricks Green gradient: Green terracotta - Green concrete - Green wool - Grass Block - Moss Block(1.17) - Green concrete powder - Lime Terracotta -BREAK- Lime concrete - Lime wool - Lime concrete powder Yellow Gradient: Yellow concrete - Yellow wool - Yellow concrete powder - Gold Block Cream gradient: Stripped Birch wood - Birch planks - Smooth sandstone - Sand - End stone Orange Gradient: Orange Terracotta - Acacia planks - Stripped Acacia wood - Smooth red sandstone - red sand - Pumpkin - Orange concrete - Orange wool - Orange concrete powder Red Gradient: Nether Bricks - Red Nether Bricks - Nether Wart Block -Crimson Nylium - Red concrete - Red wool - Red concrete powder And finally, the neutral- like salmon pinkish gradient: Orange terracotta - Stripped Acacia wood - Terracotta - Rooted Dirt - Jungle log - Stripped jungle wood Here it is! I hope this helps!

Grian basically tought us about shapes, texture, roofs, styles, gave us ideas how to go about themed buildings when he showed us different "rooms", hot to decorate the place around your house, he showed how to fill up interior with something like furniture, now he's teachibg us how to implement gradients to make buildings so much better than before. My University tought me less in years than Grian in hours of repeatedly watching these videos. One lesson at a time, my buildings evolved from basic box+pyramid to complex mantions Edit: sorry for the spelling, i hope it isn't terrible but english isn't my native language

You really helped! I’ve been doing a big project lately. It’s a desert village (custom) that is by a mangrove oasis, & I felt like I *had* to use mangrove wood, logs & planks only. I really liked the crimson wood with the mangrove, but I refrained from using it because “how would the villagers go to the nether?” I now understand that it isn’t about what it is called or where you find it :) My favourite gradient from you was definitely the moss & cobble! ^^

thats also another advice actually - more colour variant walls = less of the same block to grind. Good for when you uh. dont want to grind. Doesn't work for big builds though, makes the thing look overly crowded.

English has monopolised entertainment and this stunts of boosting people with an advantage already in a semi closed circle of connections only make matters worse. Call it English privilege if you absolutely must (yuck). In sort, any hit a video or channel or whatever gets is more likely to happen in an English speaking setting, making doing good as a content creator eons harder if you are speaking anything that isn't English. With little effort trash channels get minimal yet passive traction. Other languages have to actually work much more for the same minute reward.

A gradient of Dirt, Coarse Dirt, Granite, Polished Granite, Bricks, and Terracotta is my personal favorite. It also helps that Granite, Polished Granite, and Bricks give Slabs, Stairs, and Walls for even more verity. Plus, Rooted Dirt will be added to that gradient soon enough, which will make it all the better. It works well with a Stone, Andesite, Cobble, and Gravel gradient, Acacia logs, or Spruce Planks in some sort of combination.

personally i'd love the last one (mossy one). My interpretation of the gradient in building is an attempt to recreate the slight differences in color and texture of the blocks on the walls in buildings irl (similar to those cracked & mossy stone bricks), which naturally created by wind erosion, rainwater leaking, fire (many old buildings may have smoke traces and burns on walls), vegetation, etc. imo the white one may be too bright on the top, having too much contrast with the roof, maybe trying with a oak or birch roof would be better than spruce? The dark one nearby has too much contrast as well, while also having too little texture details, making it a lego-like simple gradient color block when looking from afar. i've also watched your sand fort in 3rd Life Ep2 and it's really amazing :)

its cool how over the years builds have slowly transformed from being uniform, square and monotone to being so varied and "messy"
