Assalamu Alaikum to all I like to share my own experience, in 2016 I went to Golden Temple, I was travelling by road from Kashmir to Mumbai and I stop at Golden temple I stayed only one night it was amazing amazing experience the hospitality of sikh brother have shown they gave to me was very excellent they milk sharbat and Suji Ka Halwa amazing and looking at Golden temple was amazing experience thanks to my sikh brothers there who looked after me and their lovely hospitality thank you may Allah bless you all thank you

Foundation stone of Shri Harminder Sahib was laid by Hazrat Mia Mir ji. The Holy book is called Shri Guru Granth sahib & contains 134 hymns of Muslim Sufi saint Sheikh Farid.

Early morning time has a great importance in Sikhi but we don't believe that God come upon earth within that time frame only. He is haazra-hazoor and Zahra-zahoor; always present in every single particle​ that we can see or not. He is present in his creation.

That was absolutely incorrect. That has never been a Sikh belief ever. There is no time for God. Sikhs believe in no such thing. Maybe he was not a Sikh. It is a holy time though -when you start your day with God's name. However - god is omnipresent at all times. Sikhs donot believe that you have to pray at a certain time only.

This is great great teaching of Sikhism.

From 2.30 a.m to 5 a.m is the best time for meditation, prays because most of the people take sleeps during this time. Negative thoughts of the people also take sleep during this time. This time is full of positivity. We can feel easily,his presence. All the words seems like wordless. Just feel God is near

A group of christians visited Prophet Muhammad SAW in his mosque. After a while they wanted to go out from the mosque to say their prayer but Prophet Muhammad SAW offered them to say their prayer in the mosque and they offered their prayer in Prophet's mosque in their own way. But muslims can't allow to do shirk (praying to Idols) in their mosques as we do believe in only one God. Sikhs also have the same belief and they don't pray to Idols so technically ISLAM does not ban them or any such person from praying in Mosques. If some groups of muslims ban all non muslims from entering mosques then its wrong and they do it due to lack of knowledge or wrong interpretation of Islam. I personally know of such mosques where they have absolutely no problem with it. If you come to Germany I will be happy to bring you in such mosque :)

Brother its clearly written in Quran that its a great sin to ban people from entering places of God's worship (Idol worshipping is in any case not allowed). Baba Guru nanak G visited Mecca. He spent many years in that region and I am sure he visited many other mosques too. Whoever doing wrong interpretation of Islam and as a result banning people from entering mosques and praying to God almighty is commiting a Sin.

Dr. Ravi Kant, is it necessary to hyphenate the religions? Isn't it hate under the sugar-coating? Golden temple signifies the free spirit of the society-it was constructed to accommodate/welcome everyone, regardless of what he/she looks like or believes in. Every religion has its own ways and they need to be respected. Sayeen Mian Mir ji (a sufi Muslim Dervish) has been associated with it since its inception. At times, the actual teachings of a religion are different from what its management practices. For example, Sikhism doesn't have any strict rules or any rituals - in fact, it preaches against the unnecessary rituals that were prevalent in the society of those times. It started as a reformist movement that later broke away to be an independent religion. And see, the Gurudwara managements are still practicing the same rituals. Every non-sikh can wear a 'topi' inside the Gurudwara, but the overzealous and half educated 'sevadars' will go out of way to harass anyone with a topi. And, don't forget how some Hindu temples don't allow non-hindus, or even the so-called lower-caste Hindus, or even the Hindu women to enter.

Gurkaran Singh He couldn't help but spread some lies subtly with mythology and superstition crap while speaking about Sikhism because Sikhsims is a way of life that promote the use of a concious mind so he had to prove the opposite by acting nice. There are many things I noticed like cleaning the feet is with water is only to clean your feet not to wash some sins away. That's why we wear a Kara on our arm to remind us to be responsible for our own actions.

I found him to be truly expressing his feelings (With whatever he could interpret (Or whatever his guide told him) . The overall meaning was to realize that amrit vela is important and not only sikhs but people of all faith should call god and get attached to god.

Abbas Afridi what do you even know of Hinduism ? Sikhism and Buddhism are bound with Hinduism . They are together spoken falling under the umbrella of Sanatana Dharma . Guru Nanak was a born Hindu and he glorified Lord Rama as the divine incarnation in Guru Granth Sahab. Hinduism is the worlds oldest religion spanning across thousands of years . I pity the extent to which you have been brainwashed against Hinduism by your dogmatic Pakistani textbooks . rohit sahoo rohit you need to study the right material brother. Your claims are just incorrect. Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji is given to us by 10th patshah n it is compilation of Bani of all Gurus. Guru Nanak ji abolished every single Hindu custom.he rejected "jainau" , Arti,shraad ,Azaan to mention a few. Guru Sahab believes in One supreme God n not lord Ram. These names are used to refer the one single god,the way Rahim,Allah have been used. His parents were Hindu but he started a new religion which follows one single supreme God,the indestructible,invincible,omnipresent,shapeless,immortal Akaalpurakh Waheguru.

Akhter sahib, i really appreciate your honest narration of your visit to Golden Temple. I'm really happy that you had a great experience staying and that you were given clean sheets for Namaz. Just wanted to add 1 thing that as you would have observed, there are 4 doors at Harmandir Sahib which depicts that any person from any caste, color and breed can come from any direction to pay obeisance at Harmandir Sahib. Hence I'm glad you had a wonderful and rememberable time staying inside the temple. My mom wants to go and visit Nankana Sahib and Panja Sahib. I'm sure we will be getting the same warm feelings as you experienced at Amritsar.

No there is no believe in Sikhism about Rabb arrives only during specific time. We consider Waheguru ji always with us not during specific time.
