for some reason I just can seem to get a grip on 1 point perspective, I look at this in an art book and its like im looking at hyroglifics

I truly love this video as you did an amazing job explaining in detail the “mechanics “ of the one-point perspective. I my youngest grandson (age 10) is a good 2D artist and I wanted to demonstrate how to do a simple 3D (one point) so he can learn how to accomplish the task. Now, after he masters that [one-point], I’m going to introduce the 2-point. I used to do amateur drafting 40 years ago and it is refreshing to be able to teach him. Thanks!!

Hey vanishing point lies on the same line as the SP. We have to drop a perpendicular to SP from HL.
