Bro I've read the manga through a cpl times and each time I start to like arcs better that I didn't before. I've been a fan like 15 years I still cry on tons of parts. Oda is just that good.

Oh you're a die hard I see. Yeah reading the manga goes by a lot faster. The anime can drag for sure, but I watch for the fight scenes. Oda has definitely mastered controlling the readers emotions and making entering character's

Wow I haven't seen someone openly praise the dub. Funimation's dub is actually really well done, and they even hire famous broadway singers like Major Attaway (Queen from Wano arc). Nice pulls man!

I love thriller bark for horror comedy, i know a lot people didn't like it because it sandwich between two great saga. Thriller bark payoff going to be insane , i seems like small that maje it great imo.

Oh does it come back into play in a later arc? Alright I'm looking forward to that. When the arc first started, I couldn't tell if it was filler or not, it just seemed so out of place. I do like Gecko though and Peronas ability. Her fight with Usopp was hilarious

Anime shows have genre. One Piece is a shounen, which translates to "for boys". Hence the prime target are kids-teens, but Oda makes it clear he wants the show be enjoyable for everyone. It is surprisingly more mature and progressive. Also, OP doesn't have a lot of nudity. Mostly just skimpy outfits, which is common in shounen.
