Dragon ball series is way more enjoyable and iconic than one piece and I would say the amount of episodes of one piece kinda make the show less enjoyable and dragon ball is way more rewatchable

As a manga reader, the story dragging on isn't a problem for me and as someone who's also watched dragon ball i clearly see that one piece has way better storytelling, characters, character development and overall feeling as a story. Dragon ball is mostly easier to watch from a younger age because it has a simple premise and story. That's why it's so popular. But overall one piece permanently raised my standards for animanga and blew any other show I've watched out of the water. Dragon ball is a good show no question and it is iconic, but it doesn't compare to one piece in most fields

Only one piece suckers will say it better. I mean DB wouldn't have been this popular if it was bad. DB has good story from first episode and op takes atleast 100 episodes to get somewhere. DBZ animation in 90s is better then op. Now if op gets good a little it doesn't mean it is better then DB.

Even the battle between kaido andd luffy is similar set up like freiza vs goku proved in chapters 1045 and onward. And one piece copied it's treasure hunting concept from DB. And Goku is so iconic that every shonen mc copies him including big 3. And you forget his writing his life story. He has become the stereotype for character dimensions plus no character or anime copies op. Before saying anything remember DB is not like other animes other animes are like DB. Even the authors of your favourite series admit they created their series cause of DB. Toxic fanboys like you can never cope with DB greatness even today and the fact that DB remains bigger than your favourite anime. 🙄

@@FusionTMK Subjectively. OPM is my favorite anime, but I also respect Naruto. For example, Saitama is better as the main character, if only because he is not another protogonist of seonen like many. Fights in the OPM can also compete with Naruto and I would say that they are better. Garou as an anthoganist and as a whole as a character is also better than an empty Kaguya for example. And at the same time, the OPM is not even close to over yet. Of course, everything is in my opinion, but I would put the OPM higher.
