That's like an unwritten rule in anime. Always let your opponent power up, no matter how long it takes or how vulnerable they become while powering up. The only two I know of that gave that rule the finger are Katakuri and #17 in Dragonball Super.

Kid is a pirate of huge honor, I think even more than Luffy who instead if he knows has 0 match and his crew is clearly doomed prefer to escape To betray someone is the most unloyal and coward move you can do as a pirate. This guy went into a direct fight against Kaido with 0 chance to win and faced fiercely Shanks, Red Hair Pirates and allies, he is a beast. He clearly rather would die than betray an ally because weaker than the opponent No wonder he is mad over cowards such as Apoo or Hawkins

Kid and Killer are going to be the main 'friendly rival' crew in the final stages. It's no coincidence that Kid was the only one with a bounty higher than Luffy at Saobody, that Killer is the only Supernova other than Zoro who isn't a captain, and that they were *BOTH* there for the start of the roof fight.

That is only because luffy did not get bounty increase from beating Moriah (correct spelling from data book) Due to world govt hiding his action and his bounty would have been around Law's bounty if not for them attacking normal people that laughed at him for saying he wanted to be pirate king.

That's the problem about Luffy and kidd honestly. Now with luffys fruit being what it is he can warp reality but still fights the old fashion way by punching things. Compressing stuff is basically what he does with his attacks overall. That's why he could hurt Kaido or Big Mom without Ryuo, he crushes them.

That's something I thought about too! His abilities are kind of busted, and there were multiple occasions where he could've used them then and there to just absolutely no diff Kidd, but man was so scared that he basically doomed himself!

Apoo is my favorite specifically because i was waiting to see how karma would come to take him out permanently, but he ends up face tanking every death blow given to him and walks out scot free. Mans might not have conquerors haki, but he definitely found the infinite health glitch and didn't tell nobody😂
