The power of the oda blueballing has never been stronger. Its like, were so close to the end, dripfeeding the truth of everything WILL come, its just a matter of when, and knowing your audience has been yearning to see for years these things. @@erbsenkrieger It would show the memories of the person it’s from, like a recording, it won’t have the information from the other side. As such it would be as biased as any other record of history.

I screamed out loud once clovers name was revealed!! Yes from the reveal, but I'm from Ireland so very excited to see Irish!! I was wondering if any mythology would be refrenced eventually... But the language being added is amazing!!! The í sounds like 'ee' and the mh makes a 'v' sound. So it's basically 'C-l-ee-u-v', basically Cleave.

Crazy to think that pre-timeskip Blackbeard did more damage to Shanks than post-Wano Kid. …but not that crazy, Kid was hard carried by his DF and Killer being a badass.

Clover being a D. makes every sense. In fact, with this single data, now we really can say we know, not wath the D is, but whom the D are, and they are just all the enemies of the Gods, the Ones Who Bring The Storm.

I keep feeling like Oda showed us something with Grus’ golems, the ancient robot with links to golem lore from the name Emeth, and maybe the Gorosei being golems (or maybe these iterations on egghead) - as they are invulnerable and it’s hard to move past the summoning circle stuff. Also, why are there a disproportionate amount of SWORD members that have a bird related name? Grus is the scientific name for a crane. Hibiri is a skylark. Kujaku is a peacock. Drake is a duck. Tashigi is a snipe. Tsuru is a crane. That’s not nothing, right? 😂

@punctualwizard it's just an easy way for oda to categorize the characters in his mind. Toriyama famously did it as well naming characters after different food groups

Honestly, withe Vegapunk doubting that Clover actually died, the percentage of that has gone up some ticks. I'm still team Yorki right now, but I wouldn't be too mad at it

Laffitte is 41 years old and Clover's brother was killed more than 26 years ago, and he would've been 15 or younger. So, highly unlikely.

Re: ppl of the world not having context for vegapunk speech. I guess Oda is the smartest man in one piece, being the creator and only sentient one. They say so much is lost in translation. Maybe we're like the people not having all the context. I love how much I have to read into this story and use my imagination, I genuinely love how absurd the community gets with it. Maybe vega saying nothing notable because of the disruption is supposed to be a slapstick thing? Hopefully there's finally a payoff with speech like I think you mentioned

100% my money is on that the meaning of D was withheld because the robot has it and will demonstrate its potential on the 27 year anniversary chapter. He will show not tell exactly the reason why the D are the natural enemy of the gods… I think Saturn dies right here and the D will be some kind of ability to change reality? Or perhaps bringing the dawn will be more literal and the robot will look up and say “Will of the Dawn… unlock” and he will become some kind of demon… haha hard to guess what madman Oda has in store but I think all of this suspicious mention of D but blue balling is was waiting for the anniversary chapter. Plus last week Oda’s editor said there is another event more impactful to the story than vegapunks message

I read vegapunks last message as a lead in to the next chapter. Could be wrong though!

The man marked by flames is Clover, and he resides in Lodestar. What if we get a double scenario in the next arc? Lodestar and Elbaf happening at the same time with Luffy, Robin and Sanji/Zoro in Lodestar and the rest in Elbaf

I don't think people all around the world will understand if vegapunk reveals everything without leaving any context, and people always take the message differently, so what I can see is Vegapunk give a context first and pinning everything to people of D that still exist to seek the truth.

I think Vegapunk didn't pin it on the World Government so that the Revolutionary Army will have time to prepare the people for battle or defense. The WG are gonna try killing everybody regardless, but they'd probably do it much faster if everyone actively started tearing down WG buildings and attacking Celestial Dragons immediately. Vegapunk is a bit naive thinking everybody will put the pieces together, but it's better than heightening an already panicked situation.

RIP Atlas. It sucks you had to die to move a ship.

You’re thinking from a Doalist perspective too much, Vagapunk isn’t telling us anything, he’s telling the people in the One Piece World. Plus not every reader is analysing it or watching the theory videos so he need to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
