One on One With Uhuru Kenyatta

Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has challenged his rivals in the cord alliance to table any evidence they have of large pieces of land that they claim he owns. Kenyatta has labeled cord as an alliance playing confrontational and old generation politics, in an interview with Hussein Mohamed earlier.

Uhuru I admire your approach to life and critism, so easy and undefensive. I see lots of envy from your political rivals and if it were them in your position I am sure they would be unapproachable to arrogance, keep up the spirit and you will always be admired by many.

If Kenyatta would speak he would tell them " Nyinyi kumamama zenyu munachokoza kijana yangu? apana chokoza yeye, amewafanyia nini? kama ningekuwa hai mungeona cha mtema kuni na munge jua Kenya iko na serikali yake."

If i had Uhuru money i would not waste a penny on political ambitions, i would spend my time macro-managing my business/s, spend time with my family and take trips/voyages around the world. Look @ the unenviable position UK has put himself in. Having to defend and account for every shilling his family has made since independence.I feel that in due time all the blood and tears his father shed for Kenya will be diluted by the raindrops falling on the i.d.p's if its proven he owns the land.

If it was Sonko or Waititu facing ICC charges, I would understand their people fighting tooth and nail to save them from conviction. These guys have demonstrated that they can lay down their lives for their people. Uhuru je? His people are grappling with abject poverty, landlessness and illiteracy, with their kids wasting their lives in drugs. What has Uhuru done for you? Has he shared his billions of shillings and millions of acres with you? If he wins, how do u stand to gain? What will change?

Does it mean the Govt. has LESS land than the Kenyattas? Uhuru is right. His opponents are using the Kenyatta family land issue to gain political mileage. He has time and again challenged those with evidence of wrong doing to table it.His opponents are avoiding the fact that they are themselves some of the biggest beneficiaries of Govt. land.
