8:47 Speaking of tattoos, you can see "TTR" under the triangle on Taka's left arm which are the initials of the other three (Toru, Tomoya, Ryota). Each of them has the other three's initials tattooed on them, except for Toru who doesn't have tattoos because he's afraid of needles so he had them carved on his guitar.

One Ok Rock is a treasure trove, so much to discover :) and yes, their stage presence is out of this world!

If you want to see how versatile they are check if you can mighty long fall live and acoustic version. If you do it back to back you will see how brilliant they are with their arrangements and how vocally talented all 4 of them are. BTW if you look at fan cams they dont do much with the sound. I recommend Make it out Alive live at One chance festival for raw vocals. And Mighty Long Fall and Deeper Deeper live at Yokohama Stadium.

I used to think that the edit after the show was the one that made them sound so amazing, but no. I watched fancams from their shows, they sound exactly that good, the difference is just fans' screams could be heard, that's all.

Loving your reactions to OOR! This performance of "Renegade" was what drew me down the rabbit hole! As others have recommended, I think the live performances of "We Are" and "I Was King" (orchestral version) are must-watches, and then you can take your pick! More classic/harder rock include "Clocks Strike," "Mighty Long Fall" and "The Beginning." But Taka's voice also unsurprisingly lends itself well to ballads, so I'd suggest "Wherever You Are" from the ambitions tour as well as the acoustic performances of "Heartache" and "Your Tears are Mine" from their studio sessions. OOR sells out arenas in Japan and other Asian countries, but they're only just starting gain recognition internationally- they opened for Muse during parts of their North American and Europe tour in 2023

If you haven't seen the live performance of "We Are" for NHK (Japanese television) back in 2018, I highly recommend it! They invited 1000 18 year old kids to perform with them during the 18Fes (18 year old children festival) during the time when Japan lowered the voting age from 20 to 18 which thrust kids into adulthood. Please check it out.

On Ok Rock is my to go band when I practice racing my FPV drone! I used their music also while actually racing! Their energy is unmatched! I love them since Han Jisung of SKZ recommended them

You found my favourite J-ROCK group. I LOVE their sound. Very reminiscent of what i listened to when i was younger. WE ARE is a must. You said popular? They are only Han's (SKZ) favourite Rock Group outside of Korea. He sang a part of WE ARE on his LEE MUJIN SERVICE. LEE MUJIN also said they were his favourite Rock group.
