    I don't care what anyone says "old" OOR or "new" OOR, I love this band and their music, whether it's "changing" (evolving) whatever, if they can still make me feel a certain way when I listen to their sound is all that matters. Stay, Comeback, or Leave, IDGAF and they don't GAF. OOR will still be OOR.

    oh my god!! so fucking agree with you!!! fuck off with old and new stuff~ but yeah... each people got their own preference tho, some of them like the old stuff, some like the new stuff, and some like both... but somehow, with people who keeps barking about this old and new stuff is really getting annoying actually, especially to me at least =A="

    Exactly. But if they need to drop their hipster ass whining - sorry, "opinion" - everywhere to make themselves feel better about not liking a song then awesome dude. Gold star. No one gives a fuck tho.

    Its amazing how the MV revolves around a scene that usually happens for a duration of 5 seconds or so in a full-length film. And yet we get the message they're trynna get out to the audience. Pure genius. So stoked for 35xxxv. Top notch production by John Feldmann as well. Really gotta hand it to them, One OK Rock have stepped up their game.

    この曲は3xxxv5とTake Me To The Topとともに聴くと決めている。

    All I see in the comments is a bunch of babies crying because their "unique" band has gotten more mainstream than they already were. "overproduced", are you a audio engineer? I don't think so, this album is not more "overproduced" than jinseixboku= was. There's more English indeed but Taka is far from being that bad at spelling it, he's rather good at it for a Japanese. Sure it could've done better with more Japanese on it but if this album was a attempt to get known worldwide even more, I'd say English is a good decision. This song is catchy as hell after a few listens, probably the best on the album imo. I wouldn't say it's their best album either but, I hate when people start spewing around the terms "sell-outs" or "going pop" when the music is definitely still a mix of alt. rock and post-hardcore like their past albums have been, which aren't necessarily genres that the masses appreciate. They haven't done anything that sounds near to post-grunge or pop punk in years. I'm also bothered with the people saying the lyrics don't mean anything anymore because they're not "sad". What are you? A middle school emo kid? They still have meaning, just for different things. Anyway, I just think it's sad that "fans" are acting so disrespectfully toward a band they love. You're not forced to like every single song or album they release but you should always encourage them in their evolution and journey to success. They deserve it...

    Not an audio engineer, still can tell how much effects they used in scream parts and how much synth they used. Also they now emphasis more synth than bass and guitar, I would expect a lot of playback. They've been using playback for guitar for ages, now things are gonna get even worse.

  • @MsRichardyang

    @MsRichardyang

    Still don't understand the effects in scream parts. Taka screams perfectly without and fx during live, but they just throw like 10 effects in studio anyways.

  • @vincegravedubs

    @vincegravedubs

    9 жыл бұрын

    Richard Yang Yeah I understand what you mean because studio experience is much different than live experience. Some tracks are just meant to be enjoyed without thinking too much about their play-ability live. I do think it's kind of a shame when bands really need playback but, band members are costy, getting someone to play the synthesizer would be great but that'd be one more mouth to feed and everything on the road. Not that OOR are still an underground band but the music industry isn't easy on anybody, even the big ones.

    私は今年,4月で51歳になりました。バンドやっていた経験があります。ジューダスプリースト,MSG等やってまして,音,メロディー,サウウンドには結構うるさいほうです。そんな私がワンオクロックと知り合ったのは,娘が好きで,音を聞いた時に,昔聞いてた,ジューダスプリースト,MSG等の音感を感じさせられるものがありました。今の若い人達には80年代のヘヴィーメタル,ハードロックが受け入れられるかわかりませんけど,私はワンオクロックの曲は合い通じるものを感じました。皆様と年の差はあるけれど,ロックに対するモチベーションは負けないと思います。51歳にもなるおっさんとこれからも,ワンオクロックをみなさんで盛り上げていきましょう!! ちなにみ,この年なっても福岡のアリーナツアーには参加します。若い者には負けないぞー!!!

    Been a fan of One Ok Rock since they started and I must say....I'm proud of the four of them (especially Toru sensei since he is leader) for watching them progress into a perfect band (they were perfect already). I will continue to listen to the forever. I'll support them along with new and old fans!! #OneOkRockIsForever

    Definitely one of One Ok Rock songs I love the most!! I remember my first time hearing this song, I was in my room trying to study and my brother was watching the TV in his room. The song started and at the beginning, I didn't pay attention to it. But the more the music became intense and the less I could focus on my lesson. Without even noticing I kind of teleported myself from my room to my brother's room to watch it haha. And since then I listen to this before my exams like a ritual. It gives me energy... One thing is sure, I've felt in love with this song ^^

    ***** Yeah SWS has introduced a lot of the new fans. Some of my favorites are Liar (one of my all time fave songs) , Kanzen Kanaku dreamer, Mr Gendai speaker (slower song), Re:make (if you want something you can really sing a long too), The beginning (so soulful ahaha) aannndd Shake it down. These are some of their (older) popular songs. Hope this helps :)

    +CJ Sunn yep, as ChunjisPants said those are some of their greates hits. But man, you really dont know what youare missing. Each album is unique. Listen Jinsei x Boku, their previous album. And if you like that, you'll LOVE their first ones. My suggestions: Nihai Shinsho Nothing Helps Rose Blood Melody Line Kaimu They are a lot xD but all their songs are just awesome!

    A friend of mine wanted someone to go to New York to see them live. I had never heard of them (I knew other Jrock bands just not this one). When I was at the concert...DAMN they were good live! I knew that people around me knew more songs and more of the lyrics but I closed my eyes throughout the concert because the sound was amazing. Taka's voice was heavenly~ They all killed it! XD They got me pumped and then they got me. Never went back. One of the best nights of my life.

    この曲の小学四年生(間違えました😅)の頃にサッカーの試合場とかおじいちゃんの家に行く時、買い物に行く時、キャンプに行く時、いろんな所に行く時には毎回この曲を車の中で家族みーんなで聴いてたり、歌ってたなー。小学6年生の時に両親が離婚して、東京に引っ越すのに車はいらない。それと、おれの大好きな車の中の雰囲気と大好きなワンオクが車の中で聞けなくなってしまった。それから中学生になり高校生生活が始まりました。やっとスマホを買ってもらい、KZreadプレミアムに会員登録をし、ワンオクの35xxxvを聞きました!久しぶりに聴いた時には自分の住んでた町の風景(新潟市中央区)やサッカー場に行くまでの道とか、今は居ないおじいちゃんのこととか、お父さんのこととか色んなことを思い出して泣いている高校1年生。ワンオクはおれの人生。もちろん他の曲もめっちゃ聴いたからね!
