I tend to disagree with you there OperaJH, I've picked up on these comments as a recent subscriber but I actually think it is the accent that makes her superb voice sound like ABBAesque to English ears. I've looked at solos by both ABBA vocalists (and I was never an ABBA fan... that Waterloo was awful in my opinion.. but that's Eurovision!) and they are, in my view, not a patch on this artist's voice. I'd say it's the difference between a Stradivarius and a school beginners violin. I honestly believe Oana is in a league of her own. As she states above this is her voice and she sings effortlessly... and what a pleasure it is!

One of my favorite writers, Yasunari Kawabata, in one of his novels, describes a woman’s voice like this: “It was such a beautiful voice that it struck one as sad. In all its high resonance, it seemed to come echoing back across the snowy night.” I must say that this description perfectly fits your voice, which in this song is so beautifully melancholic that it fills me with sadness and happiness at the same time. I want to listen to your voice and songs more and more. You are a true artist.

@@shereekendall1003 Tend to agree there Sheree, I think Oana is significantly, I say again, significantly, richer with more tone, power, range and timbre. More importantly we are all aware of Agnetha's performance insecurities which show in her solos, within ABBA itself Anni-Frid dominates. This young lady has none. Her own originals in her language are in my view first class.

Once more. Your voice is a very very beatiful. The best variant is For me. With love from Russia/

Great, clear, high-pitched voice like the other song ! I would say over 95% close to ABBA's technique ! Off course, your color voice is not the same as Agneta or Frita of ABBA (they are trained singers), and also since they sing together whereas you are only singing by yourself. For the low notes, if you can go down a little more, than that would be perfect ! (You have a very high-pitched voice)

This song was the sequel to The Winner Takes It All. One of Us continued that break up story after The Winner Takes It All. There was a 3rd song which continued that break up story called The Day Before You Came. A trilogy of songs and all 3 were heart breaking.

Beautiful version, sounds great with your accent also what blends well with the melody. This is probably one of Abba's most underrated songs also despite being their last biggest hit and not a song what is talked about as much as some of their more famous songs.
